Good afternoon, everyone! Here are a few impressions of the hotel. The first thing I’d like to mention is the location! It’s very convenient. The main attractions in the city centre are within a 5‑minute walk from the hotel — the Bund waterfront, the pedestrian street, the Yuyuan Garden, and others. It also takes about 5 minutes to get to the metro. And the line 2 (green) is convenient — it leads to the places you need or to the necessary transfers, for example, towards Disneyland, the Safari Park, or other locations. As for cleanliness, the hotel is clean. The rooms are cleaned daily. Towels are changed daily. Moreover, each towel is packaged in its own separate bag. We booked a family room with a balcony and two beds. The room had bathrobes and slippers. The beds are comfortable and large. There is a TV, of course, but in theory it’s useless because it doesn’t have Russian channels. There is a convenient remote control for the curtains and lighting next to the main bed. The only thing is that the remote control buttons are constantly lit, even at night. Sometimes it’s distracting. But at least you can see it at night. The sockets and chargers are of the appropriate format. Therefore, you either need to bring adapters or be content with two USB chargers. Moreover, there are no chargers near the second bed (the one for the child). A separate point regarding the bathroom: I don’t know why the lighting is arranged in such a way that when you go to the bathroom, the light in the hallway also turns on. Apparently, this is because the sink is also located in the hallway (outside the bathroom). The reason for this arrangement is unknown, but it’s quite common in Chinese hotels. Since the door to the shower (and the toilet, which is the same thing) is sliding, there’s certainly no point in talking about any sound insulation. Also, light from the shower gets into the room, which is inconvenient. In the bathroom, there aren’t enough hooks to hang towels and robes separately (there’s only one hook). There aren’t enough shelves to store your belongings above the sink. Overall, the room needs some improvements for family use. If you’re staying with three people, you’ll need three chairs instead of two around the table on the balcony (don’t count on a view from the balcony — there isn’t one). The staff at the hotel is very friendly. They provide excellent 24‑hour assistance at the reception. There are voice translators for various languages. It’s very convenient. The hotel is located somewhat away from the street, so you don’t hear much street noise. We hired a tour guide, and he really praised the location. Overall, we’re satisfied. There are various shopping and historical sites within easy reach. You can even get around on foot if you wish. But the metro also works great! I forgot to mention the breakfasts. I’ll be straight with you: if you like Asian cuisine, you’ll like it. My family and friends were pleased. And, interestingly, this hotel also offers a free dinner starting at 9:30 p.m. You can make it in time for salads and dumplings. Overall, it’s a good hotel — if you’re prepared for a few nuances.
