The room is quite old,the furnitures are almost broken and the towel & bed clover look dirty. The room size is pretty large, location is comfortable. It’s in the middle of Nangjing tourists area.

The location is excellent, just a minute or two's walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The front desk is on the second floor. There's a washing machine, though it's a bit dirty, so if you don't mind, it's quite convenient to use.

The room lighting was very dim, and there were no bedside outlets, just a single USB port. The front desk staff were also quite unhelpful when I spoke to them. I definitely don't recommend this place.

The location is quite easy to find, but I felt the facilities were just average. The room was very small, and it felt a bit cramped even for a suitcase. However, the geographical location is good, so it was barely acceptable for one night.

For this price in this location, it's not bad. The room itself is okay, but some areas are a bit dirty, like the showerhead could use some cleaning. The staff gave me two sets of sheets, but I couldn't get through when I called, and I was too tired to go down to the front desk to change them, so I just made do. The front desk should really pay more attention to details. Most importantly, the room's signal isn't great, and the Wi-Fi is pretty average – gaming was very laggy. Also, there are no power outlets by the bed, just a USB charging port. The only regular outlets are by the desk, so unless your charging cable is at least 2 meters long, you won't be able to lie in bed and charge your phone. And even then, 2 meters only works for the bottom bunk; the top bunk would need an even longer cable.

Absolutely, unequivocally terrible. The room was so small it was suffocating; you literally couldn't move without bumping into something. It was incredibly damp and stank. The hallway was barely shoulder-width – honestly, it felt worse than a cage for a cat or dog! When I went to check out, there was no one at the front desk, and I waited for ages. This hostel completely ruined my first night in Shanghai; I arrived late and this place just shattered my mood. I switched to another place afterwards, and it was a million times better. Seriously, don't stay here, just don't! Avoid this trap at all costs!

It was okay. It's super convenient and close to the Bund. Facilities: Everything you need, and the common areas are decent. Hygiene: Pretty good. Environment: Not bad, and the location is excellent. Service: Also good. I didn't chat much with the staff, but the experience was still pleasant. That's about it.

Had to make bed ourself

The hotel located in such a wonderful place, but inside is pretty messy. I know it’s just a hostel and we didn’t expect much but this one have no amenities not even bath towel and also you have to put on your bedsheets yourself and most of them looks pretty old and have so many stain on it. The room is just normal but in the corner of the bed and corner of the room there are quite dusty and have mold on some part. I’ve booked a room of four has only 2 power plugs which is not really enough unless you bring your own extension. Overall it’s budget friendly located in downtown close to The Bund but for the convenient and hygienic not recommended

It’s affordable for budget hostel and who want a place to sleep only. Next to Nanjing road, many local food shops around. The location is excellent. Room is quite old, small alley but acceptable at this price.

Well located right next to the pedestrian street and endless restaurants, it's perfect for travelers. However you must be patient because the staff are not very friendly...
