CitiGO Hotel Jing'an Shanghai

The hotel is very clean, and the hygiene is good. It even has a skylight. It's conveniently located in the city center. I recommend everyone choose this hotel.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting to the metro or walking around, especially since I was here for business. My child loved it too and wants to come back and stay here again next time.

A special shout-out to Miaomiao at the front desk! She was incredibly welcoming throughout our stay, always ready to help with anything we needed. She not only upgraded our room and gave us a fruit platter, but her answers to all our questions were prompt and professional. She even reminded us about the complimentary wonton supper available at night. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Staying here for my US visa application was incredibly convenient, just about 700 meters away. The breakfast hours are from 7 AM to 12 PM, which is super long, and they even offer late-night snacks! I accidentally booked an extra night, but the front desk staff promptly noticed and helped me modify my reservation. I also left something behind, and they offered to mail it to me. The service was absolutely fantastic. For this location, price, and level of service, it's truly excellent.

The bed in the room was super comfortable, and the toiletries were really thoughtful. The walls and ceiling had a great design too, loved it! The staff were all very attentive and welcoming, highly recommend. It's also about a fifteen-minute walk to the consulate, which is very convenient.

The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to Nanjing West Road Station on the Shanghai Metro. The room is very small, suitable for a single person. The bathroom is only separated by a thin curtain, and there's no view outside the window.

The hotel is in a pretty lively area, within walking distance to several major shopping malls, and the LV 'big boat' store is also nearby. I stayed here for my US visa appointment, which was about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel entrance is small, located at an intersection. The lobby isn't big either, with the front desk right as you enter. Behind the front desk is the buffet area, which is tiny with not many seats. The buffet was a bit of a letdown; I saw good reviews, but honestly, it was very average and definitely not worth 70 yuan per person. You could find better food outside. As for service, it was a mixed bag. Some staff were quite good, while others were very cold. Regarding the room amenities, the room was much smaller than I expected. I've stayed in many hotels, and I've never seen one this small. It felt like 15 square meters at most. However, the essentials were there and somewhat adequate. It would have been better with a fridge, especially in the summer for cold drinks. The cleanliness was acceptable. Overall, it's really too small. But if you prioritize location, or if you're staying for a short trip, or traveling alone, then it might still be a recommended option.
