This hotel is our top pick for road trips! The subway is right downstairs, and there's a huge parking lot next door. Plus, the breakfast is absolutely delicious. Our whole family really loved this hotel. Oh, and the restaurant across the street, Gui Man Long, has amazing food!

All okay. Metro on the opposite of hotel. Busy street with small eateries nearby. Full amenities and pretty clean. Didn't like the breakfast. Nothing much to choose from.

Great experience! The hotel is conveniently located near Fangdian Road metro station, offering easy access to Shanghai Railway Station in the city center. The interior is lovely, and the breakfast spread is quite varied, making it a good choice for most travelers.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Location was superb, close to many restaurants, coffee shops and convinient stores. Walked only 3 minutes to the nearest subway station which easily connected or transferred to other line/ stations. Breakfast was also good and tasty. The check-in process was fast and easy. I booked 2 rooms with big bed that can accomodate up to 3 adults in each room. Very comfy. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Shanghai. Not only for the affordable price, but for lots of its convinience and surroundings. Looking forward to coming back to this hotel. Thank you for your service. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Location of hotel is excellent. There is a lot of restaurants nearby and MRT is just 100-200m away only. The overall hotel services are great.

Definetely will stay here again. The cleaning service at fifth floor is so nice and very helpful although we cant speak chinese. Value the money

This hotel was absolutely terrible. The water temperature was impossible to control, constantly switching from freezing cold to scalding hot. And the water pressure was practically non-existent. After a long, tiring day, this hotel was a huge letdown. My first room reeked of cigarette smoke, even though I specifically requested a non-smoking room. The front desk staff were incredibly surly and had a terrible attitude. Breakfast was passable, but the hygiene was still an issue—I found hair in the food. All in all, I will definitely not be returning. It was just awful.

This hotel is in a convenient location. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was excellent. I would have given them a perfect 10, but there were no robes. I highly recommend that you go but bring your robe.

Facilities: Very good. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff came daily. When the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was up, the front desk would call to ask if cleaning was needed, rather than entering without permission, which was great. Environment: The lobby is beautiful, and transportation nearby is convenient. Service: The front desk service was excellent, and they even upgraded my room type. However, the aunt who cooked noodles at the hotel breakfast seemed very impatient, which put me in a bad mood early in the morning.

It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station with escalators, making travel to the railway station and Pudong Airport easy. The on-site laundry facilities, including a washer and dryer, are very useful and allow guests to pack light. The room is larger than average and quite spacious. The buffet breakfast offers a good selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A thoughtful touch is the provision of instant coffee, which is not so common for hotels in China.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Shanghai and wanted to share our honest experience to help future travelers. The hotel itself is nice and the room we booked (Queen room) was surprisingly spacious. The blackout curtains were a big plus, allowing us to sleep comfortably without outside light, and the bed was definitely the highlight of our stay – large (around 1.8m wide), very comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of exploring the city. The location is also excellent. It’s only about 2–3 minutes walking distance to the metro station, which makes it extremely convenient to reach different parts of Shanghai. Housekeeping comes daily, which we appreciated. However, there are several aspects worth mentioning that may matter for some travelers. The hotel is quite old and this is noticeable especially in the bathroom area. The sliding bathroom door was swollen and very difficult to close properly. The shower was also challenging to use, as the water temperature constantly shifted between extremely hot and very cold, making it difficult to enjoy a normal shower. Another downside for us was the breakfast. We had included breakfast for 4 days, but after trying it once, we decided not to return. The variety and taste were disappointing for the price paid. Regarding staff, communication was not easy. The reception did not speak English at all, and even when trying to use a translation app, we felt somewhat rushed and not welcomed with much patience or friendliness. As we visited in winter, we also noticed the heating system. The room warms up only through the air conditioning system, which takes quite a long time to heat such a large room. Also, the electricity works only with a single room key card, which means that if one person leaves with the key, the other remains in the room without power – not very comfortable when you need light or want to keep heating on. Overall, the hotel can be a good choice for travelers who prioritize convenience and don’t mind some maintenance issues. For less demanding guests, the room size, comfortable bed and excellent location might compensate for the downsides. But personally, considering the bathroom wear, breakfast quality and heating situation, we would probably choose a different place next time.

The hygiene was so-so, but the location was quite convenient. The toiletries weren't very complete. Anyway, the price was suitable. There's also parking available and plenty of rooms. There are many food options downstairs. The towels were a bit lacking. The main thing was the location!
