Shanghai Zhifu Inn Reviews

Room was much smaller than it looks in the pictures but clean and new and adequate. Saw the owners once when we checked in and then never saw anyone. No cleaning after the first day or any water?

We booked the entire block of 5 rooms, the hotel is located inside the ancient city of Zhu Jia Jiao. Very convenience location with 150m from bus station and 650m from metro station (Line 17). the lady host is very friendly and humble. Value for money

The owner was so kind. We have to check out at 12 pm but there was a storm made a landfall in Shanghai so she was okay to extend our stay until 6 pm without extra fee.

The hotel is in a quiet end of the town. It was lovely to walk through the small communities on the way to the centre of the town, seeing old ladies chatting and the village life happening around you, including people's washing drying on the line. The hotel has a lovely area out the front to sit by the bridge and the river. We sat here one afternoon with some beers as the sun was setting. There is also a beautiful potted garden here of flowers and floral arrangements on the tables. There were lots of courtyards and spaces to relax. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. I would stay here again.

The inn is not far from Zhujiajiao subway station, just beside Fuxing Bridge. Although the room is small, it has everything. The stairs are very narrow, and it is a bit difficult to go up and down with large luggage. The inn is very cozy and it is very pleasant to sit at the door and drink tea and chat. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the inn to the ancient town. The scenery of "small bridges, flowing water and people's homes" can be seen everywhere in the ancient town, and many people take photos and check in. The proprietress is beautiful and kind. She took the initiative to help with the luggage and gave us coffee. The inn has a washing machine and a clothes drying table, which is very convenient for washing and drying clothes. In short, it is a cost-effective homestay, recommended!

The room is nice, but the soundproofing is not good. I could fall asleep at 2am, and a bunch of people were making a lot of noise and laughing, as if they were right next to my ears. Do you think they are the only ones in the world?... I suggest you book the whole house if you have the conditions. I am poor, so I can only curse (curse those people, it has nothing to do with the B&B) The boss is nice and enthusiastic. He took me to the room, showed me the way, introduced me to nearby food, and greeted me when I left.

The hotel is in a good location with convenient transportation. It takes only 10 minutes to get to the subway. When you go out in the morning, you can find a restaurant in 5 minutes. It is a little noisy at night because it is close to the main road, but it is generally OK.

I love the fried rice made by the boss lady. I like the warm and clean room and attentive service. It is right next to Fuxing Bridge. It is beautiful without filters. I will stay longer next time.

"Sleeping by the water, stealing half a day of leisure" In this homestay in Zhifou Ancient Town, I unexpectedly encountered the ideal slow life. The inn is in an excellent location. You can see the gurgling river when you open the window. You are awakened by the waves in the morning and fall asleep with the sound of running water at night, as if you are living in an ink painting. The room is surprisingly clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the owner's care can be seen in the details (especially the cleanliness of the bathroom!). The boss is enthusiastic but not too intrusive, and he also kindly recommended the niche route of the ancient town. I love sitting on the riverside terrace to drink tea and watch the black sail boats swaying by, and all the troubles are taken away by the water~ If you want to temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of the city, this is definitely a good place to heal your body and mind. It has been collected in the "definitely come again" list!

The name of the inn is very interesting. The layout inside the inn is very literary and Zen. It feels like a paradise... The landlord is a beautiful lady, friendly and easy-going, and the service is great! The inn is located at the entrance of the scenic area, very close to the subway station, very convenient. I will stay here again if I have the chance. Zhujiajiao is a favorite scenic ancient town.
