Guang Fulin Prime Hotel Shanghai

My stay at Songjiang Guangfulin Zaixiangfu Hotel with my child was truly a unique cultural journey. The hotel boasts a prime location right next to the Guangfulin Cultural Relics, creating an ambiance of 'half worldly, half ethereal.' **Environment:** The environment here is undoubtedly a major highlight. The hotel's design is classic and elegant, with white walls and dark eaves, and winding corridors, exuding the charm of Jiangnan during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The most stunning feature is the hotel's garden landscape, with small bridges, flowing water, and playful koi. When the lights come on at night, reflecting on the water, it's as beautiful as a painting. Being close to the scenic area, the air is exceptionally fresh, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it very tranquil. **Room:** We stayed in a Chinese-style courtyard room. The interior decoration was very tasteful, with solid wood furniture, Chinese ornaments, and even the bedside lamps exuding an antique elegance. Although it's a classical-style building, the facilities are not old-fashioned; the bedding is very comfortable, and the toiletries were well-chosen. Opening the window to see the greenery in the courtyard instantly brought a sense of relaxation. **Dining:** The breakfast buffet was a rich and authentic collection of delicacies from various regions. There were freshly cooked Yunnan rice noodles, small wontons, pan-fried buns, various porridges, seasonal side dishes, and a variety of French bread and toast. The combined flavors were very much to the local taste, and my child was thrilled with the cotton candy and donuts. We also received a welcome礼遇 (welcome courtesy) from the hotel, which included exquisite handmade pastries, welcome fruits, and Chinese tea. The pastries were delicate and delicious. **Kids' Experience:** This place is very kid-friendly for families with children. 1. **Indoor Water Park:** There are three pools, perfect for toddlers, maintained at a constant 32°C. We checked in on Sunday, and went twice in the afternoon at 2 PM and evening at 6 PM, successfully avoiding the crowds, almost having the place to ourselves. My child had a blast! (Remember, both adults and children need to wear swimming caps to enter.) 2. **Kids' Playground:** Located right next to the water park, it was more than enough to keep our 4-year-old busy for an entire afternoon. We also went in the afternoon at 3 PM and after 9 PM in the evening, again avoiding the crowds. Since you can easily spot your child, there's no need to constantly follow them around. 3. **Pet Farm:** There are many cute small animals like bunnies, ducklings, cows 🐄, and lambs, all of which can be fed carrots 🥕 for free. My child quickly finished one basket and, still wanting more, bought another one, haha (a separate basket costs 20 yuan, a bit pricey 😂). **Nearby Restaurants:** There are many excellent restaurants near the hotel, such as Zuihuihuang and Yichi Huayuan. For snacks and local treats, Su Xiaoliu and Chen Xianggui are great options for families with kids. Additionally, the complimentary travel photography offered by the hotel was also very good. The photographer was excellent at engaging my child during the solo shoot, and the hotel environment provided a fantastic backdrop for photos. Highly recommended! **Overall:** If you're tired of generic modern hotels and want to give your family a culturally rich vacation, this is definitely the top choice. The staff were also very enthusiastic and made us feel 'at home.' We will consider staying here again on our next visit to Songjiang!

I've stayed here multiple times. This time, before checking in, I felt there was a slight miscommunication within the front desk, which was a bit disappointing. However, the service after check-in was quite good. Also, since it was New Year's Day, I brought my elderly parents to experience a travel photoshoot, and they were very satisfied. The lantern lighting ceremony at the entrance of the ancient house was also very meaningful.
