The hotel is clean, but the room is a little small. The location is quite convenient and close to the railway station. The only downside is that the breakfast is packed and served individually rather than being buffet-style. Overall, it was a good stay, although I found it a little pricey.

I had a wonderful stay at HanTing Hotel near People's Square! The location is absolutely perfect for sightseeing, but what truly made the experience memorable was the exceptional service.From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. After a long, exhausting day of walking around the town and sightseeing, returning to the hotel was a pure joy. The room service is spotlessly clean, and coming back to such a tidy, fresh room was incredibly refreshing and exactly what I needed to recharge.Another great highlight was the breakfast. It is very reasonably priced, and even when opting for the convenient breakfast food pack, the quality was great and highly satisfying. A big shoutout to the wonderful cleaner and the entire team for keeping the standards so high. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Shanghai!

It's been over a decade since I last stayed at a Hanting Hotel. Traveling solo, I needed to manage my budget while still wanting convenient transportation and easy access to food and drinks, plus the ability to walk to many historical sites. This place is definitely a great choice for that. Everything was excellent, except for the room being a bit small and the window opening up to a view of just a wall. The service was top-notch; anything I requested was delivered instantly by a robot.
