The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow!
**Location:** Just a few minutes' walk from Shanghai Railway Station and the subway, not far from the main road. There's a FamilyMart and some restaurants downstairs.
**Facilities:** A proper hotel with an elevator, air conditioning, and self-service laundry. The shower had good hot water. The wooden furniture looked a bit dated but seemed durable and of good quality. It appears to have been renovated, and the renovation quality is decent. However, I have to complain about the Wi-Fi speed – it was excruciatingly slow!
**Soundproofing:** Average; I could hear conversations from the next room.
**Cleanliness:** Relatively clean.
**Environment:** Both inside and out, it was neat and orderly.
**Service:** They proactively offered a room upgrade (perhaps due to fewer guests during the off-season) and could store luggage for us.
**Breakfast:** Although breakfast was included, they actually provided a 15 RMB voucher per person to use at a neighboring restaurant. You pay for what you choose, and anything over 15 RMB needs to be paid out of pocket, which felt a bit like a rip-off. However, if you plan carefully, it's manageable. The breakfast quality was relatively average, but it was available from 6:30 AM, which is convenient for early travelers.

2nd time stay at this hotel and as always, it has clean & spacious room, just in the middle of Nanjing Lu Pedestrian Street so many shops, eatery & malls just outside the hotel. It has free washing machine & dryer to use. Easy to find many kinds of food around the hotel, mini supermarket just beside the hotel, friendly staffs and comfortable beds. Need to note that this hotel might has some few stairs to reach some rooms, so for elderly, make sure to inform them and request rooms to reach without stairs. Overall, a good and recommended hotel to stay in Shanghai.

Pros:
-clean rooms
-close by to a railway station, very convenient
-service okay (could be improved)
Cons:
-poor soundproofing, can hear voices from the hallway and other rooms,
-some rooms have worse soundproofing than others, especially rooms near the staircases.
On the first day, we asked the front desk whether it would be possible to change to another room due to noise issues. They kindly agreed, with the change scheduled for the following day, which we greatly appreciate.
Bonus: when you leave the hotel, the staff will give you a hand cream as a gift. Thank you for that!
Overall, I had a good stay at the hotel, dispit

Great hotel clean and quiet. Had no issues sleeping grabbing a Bus or DiDi and going around Shanghai tourists spots. We also went to Disney land park while in Shanghai staying at this hotel. Definitely recommend staying here during a visit to Shanghai! The staff are nice and very helpful speak some English and had no issues with conversation using a translator app.

Fantastic! The hotel environment is so luxurious and upscale. I really hit the jackpot finding such a great hotel, and the value for money is incredible. It's so affordable, just over 200 yuan for a night, hehe.

The location is great, really close to the subway station, which is super convenient. The only downside is that taking a taxi can be a bit tricky because of traffic jams. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. They even gave us a free upgrade to a room with a window!

The hotel facilities are very complete, with a washing machine, microwave, and refrigerator, perfect for long-term guests.
It's very clean and hygienic.
Environment: Beautiful, with good lighting. The room stays warm even without the AC on.
Service: The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and the service is excellent! 😊 They even gave me a little gift when I checked out – cute hand warmers that are just adorable and so thoughtful.
Directly across is the Huangpu River, and the night view is also beautiful.
Highly, highly, highly recommend!
I stayed for quite a while and was pretty satisfied. The transportation is very convenient, and there are lots of delivery options nearby, with robots even bringing them up to your room. Since I was there preparing for interviews, I pretty much stayed in the hotel the whole time. The small gym and laundry facilities were a big plus, though I wish there were more than just two washing machines, as they were often occupied by afternoon. On top of that, the cleaning staff was excellent, coming promptly every day to tidy up and restock supplies!
As a returning guest, I'm still compelled to leave a glowing review. The hotel is ideally situated in a commercial district, offering convenient access to transportation, dining, and entertainment. The ambiance is elegant, upscale, and spacious, with everything impeccably clean and tidy. My stay was wonderfully quiet and comfortable, thanks to the excellent and well-maintained facilities. The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet was generous and easy to access, and the dining environment was very pleasant. A big plus is the complimentary and convenient parking.

Our twin room had outlets and USB ports on both headboards, which was very convenient for charging. The bathroom was split, with the shower on one side and the sink in the middle, next to the toilet. I couldn't find a non-slip mat anywhere, so I had to be extra careful while showering. I also noticed a few hairs on the bathroom floor, which was a bit off-putting. The white bed linens looked clean. From the 10-something floor, the view was expansive, and we could even see the SK Tower on a clear day. There was one sachet each of floral tea and black tea, but no coffee.

GGuest UserHaving stayed for several days, I can say the room was very comfortable and the service was attentive and thoughtful. They offer a buffet breakfast and have a convenient laundry room. The bathroom was consistently clean, and disposable amenities were always replenished promptly upon request.
MM491437****The hotel is newly opened and spotlessly clean. The service is also excellent. The lobby felt very grand, and once I got to my room, I knew I had made the right choice. I had a wonderful night's sleep, ready to start a new journey. Thumbs up! 👍🏻

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay in Yitel a lot! Whether it was going out and coming back late at night to be greeted by friendly staff members, getting to the super close subway station or tianlin road to eat, or even staying in to order delivery, it was overall a super convenient and pleasant experience.

CCheyenneIt is quite far from the subway on foot. We had to drag the luggage from the subway station to the hotel when we arrived. We hailed taxi when we left for Pudong airport, which was less than 30 minutes away. Rooms are big, comfy, and clean with great view. There are a lot of restaurants close by. Service is great. There are laundry room with many washer and dryer for free. Overall, a very comfortable hotel for a family stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel's supporting facilities are also very complete, parking is convenient, the rooms are clean, the front desk service is very good, there is a washing machine on the 4th floor, and they can help with laundry for free, which is very good.
