Wangxiangu Cliff Homestay

Arriving at Wangxian Valley, my entire pace of life unconsciously slowed down. The air in the mountains is very pleasant. Walking on the stone-paved path, the sound of flowing water surrounds you. There's no need to rush to check off attractions; simply wandering around casually, viewing the ancient villages built along the mountainside, and enjoying moments of daydreaming and relaxation is quite pleasant. Thank you, Housekeeper Huanhuan. The living space provided a pleasant experience, offering a safe and comfortable stay. I am very grateful to Housekeeper Huanhuan for her thoughtful arrangements; this trip brought me a rare sense of relaxation.

We had a fantastic stay, arrival is straightforward, a shuttle service at the entry gate brings you to the check-in lobby and helpful staff were available to support moving our suitcases to rooms. We had a wonderful butler Xiaohui who initiated all communication via weChat app providing us with guidance, tips and time schedules for various activities which made our stay smooth. Thank you very much for checking in on us regularly during our short stay we appreciate this. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are a larger family or group given the close proximity to the carparking and shuttle service which really helped (lot of steps once you venture into the touristy areas). Room was great, good AC, standard towels provided (this is sometimes a concern to travellers), clothes steamer was provided upon request. Breakfast was a mix of western and eastern choices with one or two interesting active stations for cuisine options. For foreign tourists visiting this area, weChat and Alipay are crucial alongside Google Translate. The beautiful village lights turn off at midnight, so becomes a photographer paradise once day trip tourists disappear and the vilage landscape becomes yours. I had seen many photos of Wangxian Valley before and was worried about they not matching reality, but I felt relieved after visiting it in person. The scenery is truly stunning, especially when fog rolls in, making the valley appear hazy and particularly beautiful. The stay was very comfortable, the environment is quiet and peaceful, and any issues were promptly addressed (thank you, housekeeper Huanhuan).

Pricey but very well worth it. The setup here is one of its kind. Crowds leave around 8:30 so you have the convenience of better photo opportunities afterwards.

I really like the simple breakfast at Cliff Cottage. There are no fancy arrangements, just some local food that is down-to-earth. Sitting by the window, eating while looking out, the canyon layer by layer is right in front of you. Don't rush to eat and rush to the scenic spot, chew slowly and enjoy the quiet morning. The ingredients in the mountains have a bit of rustic and smoky flavor, and they are very comfortable to eat. Thank you Huan Huan, thank you Huan Huan housekeeper for carefully arranging the ordinary breakfast and making it a small ritual in the journey.

The location and service were wonderful. Our room had a spectacular view of the cliff. And breakfast at the cliff library had an amazing view. The city is a fun place to explore with several shows happening around that you just happen upon. Travel from the rail station to the hotel was easy to take a taxi. Special shout out to Huan Huan, happy housekeeper. She was great and sent us with a great gift

In the summer of Wangxian Valley, every light and shadow hides surprises. In the morning, the soft morning light passes through the leaves, in the afternoon, the tree shadows fall on the stone slabs, and at dusk, the setting sun colors the cliff house with warm gold. Take a camera with you and wander around, capturing different scenes of mountains, waterfalls, and hanging pavilions; every frame is full of the atmosphere of mountains and fields. Avoid the strong light of noon, and the best results are obtained in the morning and evening. Staying at Cliff Cottage, you can go out and take pictures right away. Thanks to housekeeper Huan Huan, who shared obscure photo spots to avoid crowds. Use the lens to freeze the beauty of the four seasons in the gorge, and keep the mountain image memory of this summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Wangxiangu Cliff Homestay / 望仙谷悬崖民宿. It is truly a special place in an incredibly beautiful valley, surrounded by atmospheric cliffside houses, mountains, streams, and magical evening lights. Staying here feels like being inside a fairytale. We stayed in a spacious, clean, and very comfortable room near the breakfast building. It was located in a quiet lane, so the nights were peaceful and calm, while breakfast and the main walking routes around the valley were still very easy to reach. The room had plenty of space for relaxing and storing luggage, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel made it easy to unwind after a busy day. We would especially like to sincerely thank our personal manager, Huanhuan housekeeper🥰 She was always available on WeChat, responded quickly and kindly to every question and request, and helped us understand how to get around the valley and use the hotel services. This kind of support is especially valuable for international guests, and thanks to Huanhuan, we felt comfortable, welcome, and well looked after throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality, care, and unforgettable experience.
