Hutiaoxia Town Muyun Banshan Homestay Reviews

This was the absolute best stay on our 1 month trip around Yunnan, China. The owner is exceptional, very kind and extremely helpful. The room is very spacious, clean and modern. I can highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it :)

This guesthouse is right across the street from the Mid-Mountain Inn, and being taller, it offers fantastic views. You don't even need to brave the crowds at the 'Shuang Si Ni' balcony; you can just take amazing photos directly from the guesthouse's rooftop. Plus, there are fewer people, so no queuing – definitely recommend it! The rooms are also quite clean. P1 is the restroom in the hotel lobby, with a mountain view. P2 is the exterior. P3 is the view from the room.

We had a lovely stay here - amazing views , and delicious noodles for breakfast. Great location, next to the Halfway Guesthouse which has a great coffee shop/bar.

The views from this place are amazing, but it seems like they don't really need to try hard because they're always busy, so the service isn't great.

This guesthouse near Halfway in Tiger Leaping Gorge offers top-notch location and views. It's right next to Halfway, and almost all rooms have balconies with stunning, breathtaking views. The owner's food is delicious and affordable; dinner was less than 50 RMB per person and very filling. The hygiene is much better than older guesthouses. I highly recommend this place; the price is right.

These two local girls running the operations are really down-to-earth. When my child wasn't feeling well at night, they even helped provide medicine. The room location is excellent too.

The hotel is in a very good location as it’s right next to halfway house so you can easily walk there for breakfast/dinner. The hotel seemed pretty quiet when we were there, we didn’t see any other guests. The hotel is clean and they provide the towels in bags so you know that it’s fresh. However my bedding had a blue stain on it and also there was two beetles in the bathroom.

The hotel is right next to the inn. The staff were all very enthusiastic and even brought us drinks and fruit during dinner. The room matched the pictures, and parking was available downstairs. However, if you're not an experienced driver, you might want to reconsider driving here. The road up the mountain is steep with sharp turns and is a single lane, so you'll need to yield to oncoming traffic.

Was upgraded to a higher room on arrival. The amenities are great, the room clean, with heater available via aircon. The view from both the room and rooftop is spectacular. The host was very kind in accommodating any requests I had.

Excellent overall, but a bit disappointed that breakfast isn't included as standard.

Amazing room with very good shower and perfect cleanliness. The view was magical. It’s definitely better to stay here than Halfway Guesthouse. We just walked there to eat.

Brilliant location, with stunning views of the mountains. Great place to rest weary legs, after the Tiger Leaping gorge hike.

Clean and good location near the famous halfway. It has a very nice and quiet view of the mountains at the roof!
