Zaben Manor

I stayed at Zaben Manor for 4 nights with my family and had such a comfortable stay. Our family room was super spacious! It had 2 double beds and even 1 extra bed. The floor heating worked very well. Lots of benches to sit on and to put your luggage on. Powerful and hot shower. Everything was clean and housekeeping came every day to keep it clean. There is also a humidifier and tea making set in the room. The owners are very kind and helpful. We flew to Shangri/La from Chengdu and got picked up from the airport. My daughter got altitude sickness soon after arrival, but the hotel has an oxygen machine in the lobby that we could use for free and it helped her a lot. They also have a lovely roof terrace with swinging benches which was such a great place to sit with my daughter during the two days she wasn’t feeling well. The owner even made us some delicious noodles when we were sitting in the lobby with my daughter on the machine and couldn’t go out. The location of the hotel is great, you can take a taxi in front of the entrance or walk a few minuted and you are in old town. There is an affordable supermarket nextdoors which was very handy for us. I highly recommend Zaben Manor, amazing value and great service. We hope to come back one day.
