Had a fantastic stay! This hotel is right in the heart of Dukezong Ancient Town, just a two to three-minute walk from Moonlight Square, Dafo Temple, and the Prayer Wheel. The owner is a really nice ******* guy, and all the staff are incredibly genuine and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, and it even had a cool retractable skylight. The breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening desserts were all super generous, especially the butter tea – it was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place; we loved it so much we booked an extra night as soon as we checked in!

Had a fantastic experience! The hotel contacted me in advance to ask if I needed airport pickup, and even helped with my luggage. The orange juice served with the afternoon tea in the oxygenated room was delicious. They also gave me a parting gift when I left. The room was super clean and comfortable. Very pretty and big room with Shangri La’s iconic temple and golden prayer wheel view from the room and balcony, with yummy big breakfast. Very nice and helpful hosts who attend to all our requests promptly. They are also very thoughtful to provide hot milk and snacks after they see us back to the hotel. Very good location situated deep in the Dukezong Ancient City, with shops just outside and short walking distance to the entrance of the Gui Shan Gong Yuan. Would stay again!

One night, I experienced altitude sickness in the old town, and they immediately sent a private car to pick us up and take us back to the guesthouse. They even provided extra oxygen tanks. Hygiene: All items are disposable, including towels and bath towels. The toilet is also disinfected, with a noticeable disinfectant smell. Service: When showing us to our room, the staff wore shoe covers and explained all the facilities inside the room one by one. They also helped with our luggage. The room was fantastic, with direct views of the Great Buddha Temple and the prayer wheel. The owner provided excellent service, picking us up and dropping us off, even taking us specifically to a restaurant and Songtsam Lhakhang Monastery. The breakfast was also very generous. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby, drinking tea, eating fruit, and chatting about local customs and culture.
