Shangri-La Muyan Guanque Inn（Dukezong Prayer Wheel Guesthouse）

Very nice location near Guishan Park, room is clean too with housekeeping and airport/ station pickup and drop off

Our stay in this hotel was wonderful! Our room was fantastic: spacious, stylish, cozy, comfortable and provided with everything we needed. The view was really nice, especially in the evening! Guys who work there were very hospitable We enjoyed everything to the fullest!

The location is good, provided service to pickup and drop off to the station. Nothing much to comment about. Cleanliness needs to improve, the floor looks like got water ink or unknown solution that already dried up.

The service here from the owners was just incredible. On the last day of our trip, my partner got food poisoning. We extended our stay for a late check out to rest. One of the owners got medication and food delivered to the hotel for us, and it honestly was because of that medication delivery that we were able to leave the room to get on our train and subsequent flight for the day. They also offered to take us to the hospital if we needed it. One time we were about to walk out and it was raining and he asked if we needed umbrellas. There was genuine care and concern from the owners for their guests and we really felt it, and appreciated it. The view from the duplex suite was incredible, but a word of caution if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke. If guests are smoking in the lounge area it will enter your room. When I raised the concern with the owners they agreed to my crazy idea to stop the smell from coming in my room 😂. If there is a dance in Sifang Square, you can hear the music in the room even with windows shut, but it does stop at 10pm. The room is quiet otherwise. The location of the hotel is superb, with it being a super short walk to the shops and restaurant. It's a tiny hill to climb up - it's honestly no big deal. The pick up and drop off service was super helpful. The owners speak some English. I highly recommend this place!

Amazingly nice and kind young gents helping to pick-up from train station. Showing room amenities and helping to recommend great Hot Pot restaurant in old city. Room was equipped with high end tech like projector, voice controls etc. Location reasonably good, close to the prayer wheel.

The hotel view is great, and super near to most food places. Just need a few mintues walk. Most importantly, staffs were very helpful and friendly. They even helped me book a last minute car ride from Shangrila to Kunming due to flight delay which affected by final flight to SG. 100/10 for their service. Cant be more grateful for their help.
