MuKa Pastoral Manor (Shangri-La Napa Lake Branch)

We had came from a trek from Tiger leaping Gorge and was pretty tired from the trek and the travel. The service was top notch. We got picked up at the old town and the staff was very very kind to drop us off at the songzanlin temple before getting our luggage back to the manor. We weren't expecting views but it exceeded our expectations, the view was amazing. We immediately asked to extend for another nigh. We were also served afternoon tea and yak milk in the evening on our first night. Was really nice enjoy the landscapes of Napa Valley. They also have really cute sheeps roaming around. Finally on the last day we were offered a ride to the station. There is also a cafe on level 5 and breakfast and dinner served in the level 1 dining area.

The place was modern and clean. TV had free movies. There was always hot shower available and heating facility in the room. Breakfast, afternoon tea and night yak milk included daily. Coffee during the afternoon tea was fantastic. Breakfast was quite plain. The room I booked had no view of the pasture and animals but was facing the front hotel porch instead (albeit with a mountain view). If you want a room facing pasture and animals please choose and book the correct room, it will be the more expensive ones. Overall, still value for money. There are sheeps, one horse, one yak. About 15min drive to old town.

Its good view, worth to relax a bit in Shangrila~ Enjoy! Better stay 2 nights

We are a family of six with four young children, and this homestay was an absolute hit with them! The kids loved feeding the sheep and immersing themselves in the full farm-stay experience. I would highly recommend this place if you want to delight your children. The facilities are comfortable and well-maintained, making it a very enjoyable stay for the whole family.
