What a wonderful stay in Muka! We were so glad to be connected to the nature and everyday it’s a live documentary watching animals, feeding them and being able to touch them too! Upon arrival we were welcomed by the host and because we haven’t have our breakfast they offered a complimentary breakfast for us. The room is perfect with a great view. We have tea break in the package as well, coffee is good. Location wise is reasonable, as our intent was to stay away from the city. It’s around 15-20mins drive to the ancient town, high-speed rail train station and the airport. If you are looking to connecting to the nature and away from the entertainments, then this is for you. Definitely worth staying!

THE BEST HOTEL WE'VE EVER STAYED AT 😩❤️❤️ Our plan was to stay one night in Shangri-La and we made THE BEST decision booking this hotel. They provided pick up and drop off service from the railway station and the car was very comfortable for us 4 people. The butler waited for us right outside the station and greeted us with a smile. He helped us with the bags and drove us to the hotel. The hotel was only a few minutes away from the station and when we arrived, the staff gave us each the ******* scarf as a welcome gift. They explained everything in english and added us to a wechat group with all the staffs so we can ask anything in the group through wechat right away. The room was BIG. Was luxurious and very high tech. and DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE VIEWS 😭😭😭 The view from the room was IMMACULATE. I COULD WATCH IT EVERYDAY. Everything was clean, new and COMFY. They have everything prepared and everything was complete. The hotel provided complimentary afternoon tea for each night and you could order any drinks you like from the rooftop cafe. The drinks were amazing and they even provided some fruits. The view from the rooftop cafe was also amazing. We had an amazing time in the cafe. There were a lot of animals roaming around the ranch of the hotel and we got to touch feed and take pictures with all of them!!! It was THE MOST MEMORABLE part of the stay! There were rabbits goats lambs alpacas yak cows pigs. All of them were roaming around freely and we could take pictures and play with them! There were also another cafe and the other side of the ranch with very good views. The ranch is filled with multiple photo spots. They prepared a few huts with cute props for us to take pictures. At night, they prepared a tea making event for us to enjoy but we didnt have any time since we went to the ancient town that night. The Didis are surprisingly easy to be found even at 11pm. When we came back to the hotel they handed us each a cup of warm yak milk for a good night sleep. We slept so comfortably and the next day, we had our delicious breakfast and they were so considerate offering us a halal version of the breakfast!! And we also had our complimentary photoshoot with the ******* cultural outfits. It was very good and we got 5 pictures for free!! We requested for a late checkout but they couldn't do it since there are other people checking in the next day. However, they instead offered another complimentary afternoon tea session!!! After checking out, we leave our bags in the hotel lobby and they handed us each a goody bag filled with snacks!!! We played a little bit more with the animals and enjoyed our last few hours in the rooftop cafe for the last time! We were so sad leaving the hotel but surely we will come again!!!

My stay at Muka Manor was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Yunnan, and one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had🩵🩵🩵 First of all, I have to praise the incredible service. Even before I arrived, the reception was responsive, thoughtful, and always ready to help with anything I needed. What impressed me the most was when I ordered Taobao and due to my unfamiliarity it had to be sent to a central pick up area, they immediately helped arrange to retrieve it for me, which took away all my stress. Even when we offered to pay for their time and help they refused🥹 Every member of the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely made us feel at home. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Everything is spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Everywhere you look feels picture-perfect. Stepping outside your room, you’re greeted by open pastures and adorable animals roaming freely, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One thing you absolutely shouldn’t miss is the animal feeding experience. It was one of my favorite moments of the entire trip!!! Getting to interact with the animals up close was superrr heartwarming and fun, and I think it’s something guests of all ages would enjoy To be honest, I personally think the scenery at this hotel is even more beautiful than Napa Lake. It has a peaceful charm that’s hard to describe, less crowded, more tranquil, and surrounded by breathtaking grasslands, mountains, and nature. Simply sitting at the hotel and taking in the view was an experience in itself. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The complimentary photoshoot was another wonderful touch, giving us beautiful memories to take home. In the evening, gathering around the fire for tea was such a warm, cozy, and memorable experience that perfectly captured the spirit of Shangri-La. Overall, Muka Manor is much more than just a beautiful hotel. It’s the exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care from every staff member that make it truly special. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Shangri-La, and I would absolutely love to come back again.v
