We stayed in a brand-new "2-bed Room" for two nights. The hardware is excellent—everything is new, the beds are very comfortable, the room was beautifully clean, and the view is absolutely stunning. We were also impressed with the Kohler sanitario fixtures. The kitchen staff are accommodating, and prices for meals are fair. It's likely that since the hotel is so new, they are still fine-tuning the finer details of hospitality.
For fully independent domestic travelers, this may be a near-perfect stay. However, for foreign tourists who rely more on hotel logistics and assistance, some operational adjustments are needed:
Transport & Logistics: Be prepared to rely on local taxis, which tend to have high rates compared to other areas in China.
Pickup Service: The paid train station pickup recommended by the hotel was disappointing; the driver was unprofessional and drove in an unsafe manner.
Trail Guidance: The hiking information provided was basic and not fully adequate to prepare us for the terrain.
Pricing Transparency: There is a minor lack of clarity regarding small add-on costs for various requests.
Housekeeping: The lack of housekeeping for the second night was a bit disappointing, especially after returning exhausted from the trek.
Summary: This is a beautiful property with great potential. If you come fully prepared and do not need to rely on the hotel's local transport assistance, you will have a wonderful stay. With a bit more time to streamline operations, it will likely become a superb choice.
