A really welcoming and kind staff, a true family run venue. Indeed feels like a "home"stay. The infrastructure was perfect as well, but what really make it stand out is the atmosphere / staff mentality.

We initially booked three nights since we wanted to do some hiking, however when we arrived the owners told us it's offseason and all trails are closed. They let us change the booking to one night and refunded the other two. Very sad did we leave Haba the next day but the room would have been a perfect base for exploring the mountains. They had heat blankets but no AC, hot shower, waterboiler and it was clean.

The accommodation experience was great, it felt like coming home. I was rushing to catch a hike in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast, but the owner kindly gave me bananas and their homemade mooncakes. The next day, I had plenty of time, so I ordered two bowls of noodles, which were delicious and affordable! The flowers in the courtyard were also very beautiful! Next time I bring my family to Haba Village, I'll definitely choose this place again!
