Passing-cloud Resort·Gaogongfu (Ancient town of Dukezong,Shangri-la)

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, far exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La: **Location:** Situated within the ancient town, it offers an immersive experience of ******* old city culture. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient, and just walking around feels wonderful. **Hotel Facilities:** Everything is top-notch quality. The architecture is all solid wood and beautifully crafted. They've thought of every single amenity, from what you'd expect to what you wouldn't. The towels, for example, are incredibly comfortable and you can even take them with you. **Attentive Service:** The butler service is superb, attentive to every single detail. It's truly impressive. They even gifted us a lovely souvenir upon departure, which was delicious. **Breakfast & Tea Time:** Considering we're at such a high altitude, the breakfast even included poached shrimp – it truly touched us, coming from coastal areas. The hotel sets a very high standard for itself, really going the extra mile. Breakfast also offered beautiful latte art coffee and delicious Chinese tea. This is a truly dedicated hotel, well worth experiencing!

Free souvenirs: The hotel offers free snacks, and they even gave us souvenirs when we left, which were delicious. Facilities: They have diffused oxygen supply. Cleanliness: The towels are exclusively for guests, and many items are complimentary to take home. You can really feel their thoughtfulness everywhere. Environment: It's very unique and charming. Although it's near the street, the double-glazed windows block out all the outside noise. Service: Because of traffic jams in the ancient town, we couldn't get a taxi to the hotel from the edge of the town. The hotel manager came to pick us up on a tricycle. He chatted with us on the way, which made the kids incredibly happy. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Shangri-La.

One of my favorite hotels during this Yunnan trip. It has a very classic, aged look, and the bed is super comfortable. From the third floor, you can see the prayer wheel at Guishan Park. The best part is the dispersed oxygen supply – it's very quiet, so it doesn't disturb your sleep, and it effectively helps prevent altitude sickness. When we left, they even gave us umbrellas because of the drizzle. Complimentary souvenir: The complimentary souvenir was delicious! I'd really love to know what brand that yak jerky was.

I embarked on my trip to Shangri-La with a mix of apprehension and excitement. Upon arrival, a chatty driver picked me up, and I was greeted warmly at the hotel. The hotel's rustic and historic architecture immediately convinced me to extend my stay. The hotel provided a full range of toiletries, and thoughtfully included disposable bath towels, regular towels, and face towels, which was a nice touch. Moreover, its excellent location made it convenient to get around everywhere. I'll definitely be back! And the souvenir was a lovely touch that I truly appreciated!

The room was excellent, clean and tidy, and the mattress was just right – very comfortable. The location is superb, very close to the prayer wheel and Sifang Street, so you can explore the ancient town anytime. The rooftop viewing platform is beautiful, offering direct views of the prayer wheel and Dafo Temple. The service was also exceptional; any questions were answered immediately. Thumbs up! 👍

Two seniors stayed at the hotel. The staff were very enthusiastic, helped with the luggage, and patiently explained how to use the room's facilities. The hotel environment was comfortable, and we were very satisfied. You can see the beautiful night view of the prayer wheel from the rooftop!

The hotel has a very ******* style. The service was excellent; they arranged airport pick-up a day in advance, and at check-out, they even thoughtfully helped transfer our luggage to our next hotel.
