The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was even larger! The owner was very discreet, quietly going about their work. An extroverted guest would likely have a lot to talk about with them, but I, being more reserved, could only manage a nod and a smile. The hotel's garden was also very charming, and its location is right next to Napahai Lake.

The location is excellent and super easy to find, with convenient parking right at the entrance. Upon pushing open the wooden gate, the courtyard greets you with a riot of blooming Gesang flowers. Da Bao, their Samoyed, is incredibly friendly and has the most adorably fluffy ears. The backyard is also home to 'Black Cat Detective' and her little ones. From the second-floor terrace, you can spot Napa Lake in the distance, though the thick cloud cover during Shangri-La's rainy season unfortunately obscured any sunrise views. A simple bowl of Cantonese beef offal noodles and a brief, heartfelt chat helped me shed life's daily stresses and find the renewed strength to continue my journey.

We had a great time in this peaceful and amazing guesthouse. Large room with a view, owners very friendly and helpful, helped us organize our trip, and find an excellent driver to visit further. We loved the dog and the kittens, great food. Normal towels instead of single use would be an improvement, but otherwise great bathroom and overall facility. Would definitely recommend and come back.

This B&B has such a fantastic vibe, I'll definitely make a special trip to come back. The adorable Dabao and his family were all so sweet. It's incredibly quiet, perfect for truly settling in and soaking in the experience.

What a wonderfully surprising stay! The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming and treated us exceptionally well. Breakfast was hearty and filling, and having cats and dogs around made the place feel so incredibly cozy and homey. We can't wait to come back!

The room was spotless. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming, and her cooking was delicious. The view from the viewing platform was especially stunning. Her adopted Samoyed, Dabao, was absolutely adorable. I'll definitely be back!

The guesthouse is perfectly located. From the second-floor balcony, you get panoramic views of Napa Lake. We even took an evening stroll on the grasslands, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking and so relaxing! The guesthouse has the most adorable cats and dogs! The cats are so sweet and cuddly; I just wanted to pet them all day long o(^▽^)o Breakfast was also incredibly hearty; the owner made sure we were well-fed, haha (Forgot to take photos!)~ If I ever get the chance to visit Shangri-La again, I'll definitely be staying here!

The ambiance was comfortable and the room was spotless. Most importantly, the guesthouse owner was incredibly hospitable! They even took us up the mountain to forage for wild mushrooms!

The environment was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable! The resident cats and dogs were absolutely adorable! The owner's homemade bread for breakfast was simply divine – good enough to open their own bakery! Highly recommend!

A really cozy guesthouse, situated right in the Napa Lake area. The drive there offered beautiful scenery. It features a lovely little courtyard filled with plants and flowers. The hostess was wonderful, helping us plan our itinerary for the entire trip, making sure we didn't waste money or fall into any tourist traps. They serve food at the guesthouse, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the hostess's homemade bread – it's absolutely, incredibly delicious!!! Sadly, our time was limited, so we only stayed for two days. Can't wait to go back next time! 🥰

We booked prairie scenic room but the room had no view at all except to the bathroom with a little window. That was disappointing so we talked with the owner who is kind and offered a better room. Yet be aware that the prairie scenic room have no view, so if you wanted a view on the beautiful napa lake and prairie, take the superior room, the only one with a view as far as i understand. However, there is a common place with great view on the lake and horses. The owner was kind and helpful, she cooked vegetarian meal and offered us eggs. The area of napa tso is great to get off the over touristical , business noisy shangrila and explore ******* area with real natives. Nice nature, birds, herds. Hotel offer taxi service for cheap to train station. If you want a room with a view select the superior one. A good memory, nice owner and ******* place. Om mari peme hung, may all beings have real hapiness and freedom.
