Yanlu Library Oxygen Hotel, Shangri-La(Dukezong Ancient City North Gate)

First off, let me talk about the environment – I loved it, very unique, and the bookstore vibe was just perfect. The owner was also incredibly kind and upgraded my room! I really wished I could have stayed a few more days. They have an oxygen concentrator and offer high-speed rail station pick-up/drop-off service! The location is fantastic, very close to the North Gate, and the back door is just a few steps away from the ancient town! The owner was very hospitable! The only downside was that I suffered from severe altitude sickness that night and had to go to the hospital, which was also quite close. I ended up leaving on the 7 AM high-speed train!

The service and ambiance exceeded my expectations, making my trip to Shangri-La truly unforgettable. They helped with my luggage, recommended local delicacies, and I found all the staff, both male and female, to be incredibly chatty and personable. I even met someone from my hometown, and we had a great conversation. It's the kind of place that makes you never want to leave the city. I can't imagine anyone not falling in love with Shangri-La; the culture and scenery are just beautiful. As for this guesthouse, I highly, highly recommend it; they're so incredibly thoughtful. Praise, praise, praise!

The room had a great vibe, and breakfast was included, which was super convenient. The location was excellent, right on the edge of the old town, and there was free parking available. The owner even helped with luggage. Downstairs, there's a library where you can read or just relax and unwind.

The room was clean and very close to the ancient city. There's a charming little library with many interesting messages left by guests. The owners were incredibly warm and thoughtful; they came to the parking lot right away to help with luggage and show us the way. The courtyard is a lovely spot to sit and relax, and their dog is super cute too.

Located north of Dukezong, close to the parking lot, so parking is quite convenient, and the surroundings are quiet. The service was excellent; upon arrival, they introduced many services. The library downstairs is great; I spent nearly two hours there at night, reading a book. It was very quiet and comfortable.

The room facilities are complete, comfortable, spacious, tidy, and clean. The breakfast was super delicious! The young man from Baise who prepared breakfast was enthusiastic and friendly. The sweet potatoes, soy milk, and mini pumpkins were all very tasty. What a coincidence that the young lady who checked me in was from my hometown, Liuzhou! This is a warm and comfortable hotel, highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shangri-La.
