Yanlu Library Oxygen Hotel, Shangri-La(Dukezong Ancient City North Gate)

We stayed in the family suite, which was a loft with plenty of space on two levels – enough room to open four large suitcases. It had two sinks and smart toilets. The underfloor heating and oxygen supply were also great. It's perfect for a family of four traveling together, and the guesthouse's dog was adorable!

I didn't have any particular expectations for my stay in Shangri-La, as I figured most places would be similar, so I just booked a random one. Soon after booking, they called us to confirm our arrival time and other details. When we arrived, they even helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly thoughtful, especially in Shangri-La's high-altitude environment. The butler mentioned they were worried about us overexerting ourselves with heavy bags, as it could worsen altitude sickness! Upon arrival, besides the standard check-in process, they also presented each of us with a Shangri-La Hada – we were all so delighted! The most important thing was that all the staff here were knowledgeable about Shangri-La's dining, entertainment, and activities, which saved us a lot of trouble. Whenever we had questions, they responded promptly and genuinely seemed concerned about us avoiding tourist traps in Shangri-La. Since Shangri-La can get quite cold, the butler thoughtfully explained the room's amenities as they showed us to our room. Crucially, the room had underfloor heating and an electric blanket, which was more than enough for us. Oh, and there was also a humidifier in the room, which was a very considerate touch. I definitely want to come back and stay here again if I get the chance! I really love this guesthouse; it's truly fantastic! Keep up the great work and stay open. We'll definitely come back to stay if we have the opportunity!!

The B&B environment is excellent and very unique. The host is also very welcoming, and the dog is super cute. The breakfast is also quite good, and the service is great.
