Best place to stay on the island, hospitality amazing, really nice breakfast and real value for money tasty evening meals, we are staying again in August, ideal if your travelling by train, short walk from Shanklin station, parking available also excellent bus service near by and a ferry discount if you book direct,

This was our second stay at Brooke House and we could not have been happier with our experience. Hana and Steve run a fantastic B&B and we very much hope to return again! Hana is extremely welcoming and helpful, even carrying cases up the stairs for us. Steve makes delicious breakfasts and there is an option to have an evening meal at certain times of the year. The B&B is spotless and always looks like it has just been decorated! It's position, which is round the corner from the station, makes it ideal for anyone not wishing to drive on the island. The trains and buses are frequent and cheap. I honestly cannot recommend Brooke House highly enough. Book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. Huge thanks to Hana and Steve for another super holiday!

Brookhouse was the most perfect place to stay in for our few days in Shanklin, all thanks to Hana and Steve! Our welcome was so so lovely, and instantly felt at home and so comfortable. The room we stayed in was perfect. Lovely comfortable beds, the view from our window was so nice and the whole feel of the room was just cosy. The bathroom was beautiful and homely. There was such a variety of different foods to choose to have for breakfast, and was lovely. We had such a lovely time staying here, and was sad to leave as it felt so at home. We cannot wait to go back again. Thank you so much again Hana and Steve x

Where to start ?! Firstly, Hana was the most lovely and welcoming host and made us so welcome to Brook House. The room was perfect, beautifully decorated and spacious. The bathroom was lovely and beds so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing - how Steve made these scrambled eggs so perfect I need to know ! Same applies for the perfectly cooked mushrooms! Brook House is a charming building in the perfect setting and easily accessible to the local High Street and other amenities. I can’t wait to go back here and can’t recommend Hana, Steve and Brook House enough.

Was at Brooke House for a short break at Easter.I have stayed her before as It's location is great, close to the train station, bus stops and is just a short walk to the old village and beach. There is a great choice at breakfast which is cooked fresh by Steve. Hana and Steve are great hosts I find them both very helpful. I will be returning for another stay and I highly recommend this B&B

Just returned from our 5th stay at Brooke House, it really is the best home from home you could find...Great room, spacious, bright and airy, super comfortable and scrupulously clean. Breakfast by Steve is amazing and plentiful, evening meal is by arrangement and very popular.....Brooke House will always be our favourite place to stay and we both look forward to seeing Hana and Steve again next year!

Always a friendly welcome upon arrival. The single room (No. 4) has a comfortable bed, spacious wardrobe, good sized shower room/toilet and is nicely decorated. I chose to have a 'Full English' breakfast each morning and there is a choice cereal as well together with toast and jams/marmalade, tea or coffee all perfectly presented and excellently cooked. The evening meal menu changes each day and is always presented and cooked to a high standard. It is what I would call traditional home cooking which just suits me! I have been visiting Brooke House for over 10 years which indicates how pleased I am with everything.

An excellent place to stay. It was my third visit. Everything was to my satisfaction. Meals were superb - It is not the place to go if you are on a diet...!!!! Lots of lovely places to visit on the island. Never a dull moment. Only problem was that the time passed far too quickly..!!
