Shantou Marriott Hotel

The service was attentive and warm, the dishes were fresh and delicious, and the scenery was pleasant. The front desk staff even helped carry our luggage to the room, which was very thoughtful. All the staff had a smiling service, thumbs up! The only minor issue was that my family found the duvet a bit stiff.

The hotel offers a fantastic view and is very close to Shantou Station, making it convenient to get to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay with the kids during the holiday!

I've stayed at this hotel several times now, and it's one of the most comfortable and pleasant five-star hotels in Shantou. The rooms are always very clean. The breakfast is extensive with many options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, and the local specialty snacks are also excellent. I particularly like the toiletries; they smell lovely. The executive lounge offers a sophisticated ambiance, and the dinner is simple yet refined, with main courses, desserts, and cocktails all available. The staff are very courteous. It's a pity I didn't get to try the afternoon tea, as it finishes at 4 PM. 🌟Areas for Improvement: Upon arrival, my room wasn't ready, and I was very tired. I couldn't check in until around 5 PM. During peak season, the hotel should really add more staff instead of making guests wait. I've encountered this issue several times now, and I hope they take it seriously and resolve it. The hotel's air freshener has changed, and it now smells like engine oil, which I personally don't like. I thought something had happened in the lobby. I also wish the suite bathrooms had a bidet or washlet; I dislike the cold feeling of sitting on a regular toilet. I hope the hotel can learn from the service at Conrad Shanghai, where instead of just apologizing for legitimate guest requests, they proactively resolve issues as quickly as possible. I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I'm still giving it five stars as encouragement!

Had a great stay! The room was spotless and very comfortable. I accidentally made a mistake when booking, but after contacting the hotel, they kindly adjusted the room type for free. Their handling was very understanding and thoughtful. My child had a wonderful time! The hotel's location is also very convenient; I could reach several popular spots within about 10 minutes. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience and would consider staying here again next time I'm in Shantou!

The amusement facilities are complete, and my kids loved them. However, there's room for improvement in the hotel's cleanliness and service. The scenery is beautiful, directly facing the sea, and there's even a travel photography service. Thumbs up!

The hotel's location is excellent, with complete facilities and superb views from the room window. Public transportation nearby is very convenient. The front desk kindly upgraded me to an executive floor free of charge, and the service was warm and attentive. It was a great stay.

Overall, everything was seamless and the experience was fantastic. Fred's service was incredibly thoughtful, and he even upgraded our room! Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip.

Thanks to Andy's arrangements, we didn't leave the hotel due to a typhoon. They even extended our checkout due to the special circumstances, and we ended up booking two rooms. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel in Shantou.

The service was excellent, and the location was super convenient for getting around. The hotel felt very luxurious, and it was clean and quiet. My only complaint is that it was a bit pricey. I'd definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Shantou.
