The room was clean and tidy. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance to the Hometown of Calligraphy and Cangqiao Old Street. The breakfast selection was also quite rich.

I stayed here for four days and three nights from Oct 1st to Oct 4th during my trip to Shaoxing. **Pros:** * **Accommodation:** The room was very spacious and soundproofing was excellent. If you're sensitive to noise, this place is a top choice. * **Breakfast:** It was quite rich, with hot noodles and a wide variety of small wontons. * **Location:** It's very close to attractions. It's a 20-minute walk to Cangqiao Old Street, a 30-minute walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence, and a 10-minute walk to Wang Yangming's Former Residence. By car, it's 20 minutes to Donghu Lake and Dayu's Mausoleum, and 30 minutes to Orchid Pavilion. * **Laundry Room:** The service here was exceptional. I put my dirty clothes in the washing machine before heading out in the morning and told the laundry attendant. When I returned in the evening, my clothes were neatly folded, packed, and waiting for me. This service really impressed me. * **Thoughtful Gesture:** During the National Day holiday in October, they gifted me a box of pastries, which was a very thoughtful touch. **Cons:** * There was no place to hang clothes outside the shower, and no slippers were provided for showering. There was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom. * Parking was quite limited. I would consider staying here again if the price drops.

This was my second stay here. My first experience was decent, which is why I chose this place again. However, this time was quite frustrating. Check-in was slow, and once I got to the room, I found several small holes in the bedsheet. I reported it to the front desk, and a staff member came, but they couldn't find a bedsheet of the correct size. So, I had to go through the hassle of changing rooms. The whole experience was really disappointing.

An excellent hotel, very close to Shusheng's Hometown and Lu Xun's Hometown. There are also many great restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the hotel is clean and tidy. The breakfast is also very rich and delicious. The staff are all very attentive. The location is decent, only 2-3 bus stops away from the scenic spots, or about a 30-minute walk. However, there are a few things I need to complain about. Firstly, we arrived around 11 AM on Friday, and perhaps the hotel was really busy, but our rooms weren't ready. When we asked how long it would take, they couldn't give us a clear answer. So we just had to wait. By past 12 PM, my child was getting fussy and wanted to sleep, so I went to the front desk again. They said only one room was ready and we could go rest there, and they would notify us when the other room was cleaned. When I booked, I used points to ensure a 10 AM check-in so my child could rest well, but we still ended up waiting until after 12 PM to check in. Secondly, the soundproofing of this hotel is absolutely terrible! My child fell asleep around 9 PM, but around 11 PM or 12 AM, guests in the hallway were walking around, talking loudly, and slamming doors. My child woke up startled and started crying. Then, a guest from an unknown room aggressively pounded on our door and angrily asked if we could control our child and let others sleep. I kept apologizing profusely, and I honestly felt that if I, a woman, hadn't opened the door, he might have gotten physical. Thirdly, the hotel's cleanliness really needs improvement! The mini-fridge in our room wasn't plugged in. When I pulled out the cabinet to plug it in, there was dust all over the floor! We booked two rooms this time. The next day, when we went out, we told the front desk the room numbers and requested both to be cleaned. But when we returned in the afternoon, only one room had been cleaned. When we asked the front desk, they said they 'forgot' to clean the other one! It's ridiculous! The only redeeming quality was the breakfast, which was pretty good with a wide variety. The staff were also very enthusiastic and even told my child to eat more so he wouldn't be hungry when playing outside. This trip to Shaoxing, the food and activities were good, but the accommodation was quite disappointing!

The hotel environment is excellent, and the hygiene is top-notch. It's conveniently located near transportation and all the main attractions. The breakfast spread is particularly impressive. The staff are also incredibly polite and well-trained. M Hotel is definitely worth staying at again the next time I visit Shaoxing.

My family was very satisfied, and the kids had a great time too. The location is excellent; right outside is Shusheng Old Town, and you can even walk all the way to Lu Xun's former residence. It's truly in the city center.

The hotel is great! The room was very clean, no strange smells upon entering, and the bathroom was spotless. The shower pressure was excellent. It's conveniently located about 1.5 km from Lu Xun's former residence, making travel easy. The soundproofing is also good, so it was quiet at night for sleeping. I came to Hangzhou for a trip and decided to visit nearby Shaoxing and other places. I booked this hotel online because of its good reviews, and it really lived up to them. Based on the layout, it seems like an older hotel, but it's very clean. The front desk immediately gave me a free upgrade, and the room was quite spacious. The guy at the front desk, the chubby one with glasses, was especially warm and helpful.

They had welcome gifts and even upgraded our room for free, which was really nice. It was very comfortable and clean. My only suggestion would be for them to do more smoke treatment in the rooms, as there was a slight smell of smoke. The breakfast was good too. Overall, I really liked it.

The hotel's location is great, and it's clean. The only minor issue is the slightly disorganized parking situation out front. Everything else was good. It would be a really nice place to stay if you avoid the Golden Week, as the room rates during the National Day holiday were seriously expensive!
