Hotels in Shiretoko are very expensive. This one is the cheapest one. It is halfway up the mountain. We took a bus to get there, otherwise it would be very difficult to walk up with the luggage. The location is a bit far from 711, but the hotel provides a small convenience store x souvenir shop, and the frozen curry rice in the midnight snack vending machine is surprisingly good.

Vacation needs are superb!

I used it on my first trip to Shiretoko as part of a group tour. Since it was a relatively cheap tour, I didn't have high expectations for the hotel, but I was satisfied with the facilities such as the rooms, hot springs, and lobby. The dinner and breakfast buffets in particular were very delicious, with many of the dishes making use of local ingredients. The open-air bath was nice and the starry sky was beautiful. I would like to use it again when I come to Shiretoko. It was hot in the hallways and elevators, but it was record-breaking heat, so the air conditioning equipment probably wasn't able to keep up.
