Parrotel Lagoon Waterpark Resort

Brilliant place to come to relax and spend quality time with the family. Enjoyed every second, staff went above and beyond to make our holiday memorable. Will 100% be back.food was ok , but not the best for fussy eaters but still a great selection of food.

The entertainment staff were brilliant and all of the staff are really accommodating. The shop in the hotel is great and the rooms are lovely. It has been a lovely family experience, especially with this being the first time going to Egypt. It is perfect for little children and is equally great for adults and older children

booked this hotel as we was thinking it was a five star and looked great on the pictures the food is terrible there’s not a lot on offer for english. we couldn’t stand it and ate out everyday absolutely disgusting. the rooms are filthy and the hotel it’s self is in a derelict place the mall is not finished so u have no shops around you and if you don’t like the food and want to eat out u have to get a taxi to soho old market or nama bay wich can be twenty pounds a time. this hotel is defanatly not a five star i would say more 3* absolutely terrible do not waste your money going here 👍

Don’t pay attention to the horrible reviews. It’s not out first time in Egypt and definitely not our first time traveling either. We’ve been to many hotels and resorts and this place is definitely a good choice for it’s price. As soon as we arrived we got checked into our rooms and got our luggage transferred via golf car. The room itself had a lot of space, it could fit everything we needed. We had a pool view, so in the evenings we could hear the music coming from the stage, but it wasn’t bothering us at all. However, if you want a quieter room, tell them to give you one with a garden view. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, at the pool bar there was a barman named Ibrahim - he was making us the best cocktails and always giving us a smile. The restaurant staff was really nice as well. The food is alright, although on some days we were going to restaurants outside the hotel just for some change. The territory of the hotel is enormous, it took us awhile to remember all of the locations. There are several swimming pools, including the ones in the waterpark area. There’s lots of slides as well. Everytime we’d go there we’d spend at least 3 hours. About entertainment - they provide evening shows, as well as activities during the day at the big swimming pool. There was a really nice girl named Daniella, she was the one doing the kids entertainment every night and was always playing with our 5 year old. There was also a colombian guy doing dance lessons around the swimming pool, we were joining him sometimes, he’s fun. The rest of the team are fine as well, although we didn’t interact with them as much. They have a foam party going on twice a week, which was quite fun too. There are issues with wi-fi at night, probably because too many users are trying to connect at the same time. Mosquitoes are terrible, especially at night, make sure you grab something to protect yourself, or wear clothing that covers your entire body. We would also like to suggest to the bar area to get some paper cups - not everyone wants to take glasses or normal cups to the room. I guess these are the only issues we’ve found during our stay. We would recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

The staff themselves are very good. However they are overworked resulting in them not being able to give a quality service despite them trying to seem upbeat. I would put this down to the management trying to grain every ounce of the resources they have available among the staff as they are constantly working day and night. The hotel is definitely a 2/3 star no where near 4/5 stars. The toilets smell the food is poor consisting of the same food almost everyday. I personally would not come to the resort again or recommend to any family members

Excellent in everyway the resort is a Radisson Blu which suggests first class and in my opinion it was.The bar staff where excellent as where pool staff with a special mention with regards to Tarak he made everyone feel special and could not do enough for the guests he is a credit to the company.The food was of a good standard plenty of choice and the drinks never stopped coming at you.So once again a superb holiday experience and I will be returning very soon.

Great choice for family vacation. We got 2 kids (4 and 7) and they did not want to leave the hotel because of how much they liked it there. There was a bunch of entertainment going on - shows and kids parties. Our kids especially liked one of the animation team members - Daniela, she was extremely friendly and our children adored staying around her all the time. As for the rooms, they were quite large and spacious, we had a pool view which was beautiful as well. The territory is just huge, that is probably the biggest hotel we’ve ever been to so far. Be careful though, as there’s a really big amount of mosquitos in Egypt, make sure to take some spray to protect yourself. The sea is about 10 minutes away from the hotel, although we couldn’t swim much as there was a red flag at the beach for about 2-3 days due to the strong wind. Food is alright, we’re not much of a picky eaters so we didn’t have any issues with that. The staff is super helpful, they were trying their best to provide a good service. Waterpark was just great, lots of slides and pools, some days we’d spend there our entire day so that we would have time to try all of the slides. We would recommend this hotel for anyone who has children.

A perfect place to relax. We came away for a relaxing holiday, and found it here at the Parrotel Lagoon. All of the staff, from the reception, the restaurant, shop, bars, beach, pool, cleaners and room staff, are so polite and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The key to this, is to treat them with courtesy and respect, as we are visitors in their country and they deserve it. There is entertainment every evening in the main area, which wasn't always to our taste, but for the young ones it was ideal. It has been a very enjoyable holiday.
