Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding My Stay at Dreams Beach Resort Sharm El Sheikh
Dear Management,
I would like to submit a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at your resort, which was extremely disappointing and stressful.
Upon arrival, we faced nearly 3 hours of delay resolving the reservation issue, despite the booking owner previously emailing all required details and guest names.
I would like to mention that Ahmed at reception was professional and helpful. However, after his shift ended, another receptionist named Youssef handled the situation in a very rude and hostile manner.
Later that night, we accidentally locked the room key inside, and assistance took an unreasonably long time to arrive. Shortly after, the bathroom door lock malfunctioned completely, and maintenance did not arrive until 3 AM. In addition, the air conditioning system was faulty and could not be turned off properly.
The worst incident happened the following morning when water started heavily leaking from the ceiling, soaking our clothes and belongings inside the closet. After such a terrible night, I completely lost my patience and decided to leave the hotel.
We had booked two rooms:
* One room was fully vacated, yet the hotel refused to cancel or refund it.
* The second room remained occupied by 3 exhausted guests who were unable to relocate again after everything that happened.
For fairness, I would also like to mention that Mohamed from room service was kind and attempted to help us the next day, but the overall experience had already caused significant distress.
Considering the extremely poor condition of the resort, the unacceptable service, and the emotional and material inconvenience caused, I am formally requesting:
* A full refund for the affected booking
* Appropriate compensation for the damages, inconvenience, and ruined stay experience
The experience did not reflect the amount paid or the standards expected from a resort of this category.
