Comfort Inn & Suites Sharonville - Cincinnati North

When we checked in they put us in room 217. It seemed like they had this room key separated from the others, as they already had the room number on the key envelope and didn't have to scan the keys. When we entered the room, it smelled like there was a bong smoking party in there right before we got there. So we headed back to the front desk and they apologized and said that they would upgrade us to a king suite, which was fine with us. It seemed great until I went into the bathroom and there was several long black hairs in the middle of the bathroom floor. Also, the tv in the room did not work at all and I was wanting to watch the Olympics men's hockey gold medal game. So much for that. Worst of all, when we went to bed, there was some kind of compressor or pump on the other side of the wall where the bed is. It would run for about 2-3 minutes every 15 or 20 minutes. It kept us awake about all night. That was Room 102. Breakfast was so-so. This hotel has lots of great reviews, but that is not the experience that I had.

The renovated rooms look great — new floors, clean walls, and updated furniture. It was chilly outside, but the room stayed warm without any noise from the heater. A very comfortable winter stay overall.

On our weekend road trip, we took a break here and it turned into a little family adventure. The kids loved swimming in the pool while we chatted with the friendly front desk staff. The whole place felt welcoming and full of good energy.

It was nice. The staff was accommodating and helpful. It was clean, and the BIGGY - no critters!!

The hotel is old but has been recently renewed. It looks sharp and clean, but after a while in our room it was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned properly from the prior guests. Frozen food left in the freezer, candy wrappers just under the headboard, a couple hairs in the tub. I will say that our concerns were addressed immediately and professionally. We felt much better once we observed the sheets to be switched out etc. This hotel is in good shape at the moment but without constant care it could fall to disrepair quickly. It is good value for the price as long as it is taken care of.

I travel a lot especially for work but I 10/10 would recommend this hotel. It looks to be recently remodeled and updated, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and halls were well kept along with the bed being comfortable.
