Stayed many times and enjoyed caring and satisfactory service. The reception service on the first floor is warm and thoughtful, answering all questions, and amiable. The accommodation is quiet and tidy, feels at home and feels private. A very convenient and practical location if you are from out of town, in the city for an extended shopping excursion on Zhongxie, or plan to sample the food stalls and / or visit the Palace - a 2 km (30 minute) walk. Room could use a lamp. Otherwise, the great little study table provided in the room is rendered useless. Front desk service is friendly, if a bit slow. Probably not a property suggested for a multi-night stay. A bit smoky, no breakfast offered that I could see. Of course, Zhongxie is nearby, and has many choices.
