HOMESTAY (Shenyang Middle Street Forbidden City)

I recently stayed at this hostel and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, making it easy to meet other travelers from all over the world. The staff were incredibly helpful and always available to give recommendations about local attractions, restaurants, and hidden gems in the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-organized. Even in shared dorms, there was plenty of space for luggage and personal belongings, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless and cleaned regularly throughout the day, which made a big difference. One of the highlights was the common area. It was cozy and lively at the same time, with comfortable seating, games, and a fully equipped kitchen. The hostel also organized social activities like city tours and group dinners, which created a great sense of community. The location was perfect — close to public transportation and within walking distance of major attractions. Overall, this hostel offers excellent value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and social place to stay. I would definitely come back!

cozy enough for one people to stay if you r in a budget this is ok and location is near the main road about 5mins walk the stuff is helpful, ava, she did her best to fulfill the request and thank you for that. however, i have a change in plan i need to check out early which is on 31/12, in china theres a policy you cant modify the check out date in between 31/12 -3/1 , cause its new year, so i wasnt able to modify my check out date and also wasnt able to get my refund. this policy should have written on the hotel rules and regulation there. secondly, this hotel has no lift, take note for this if you have a huge luggage. thirdly , the room i choose is single room, but as my original plan in this hotel is seven day and the single room i actually choose is the wooded background room but what i got is the first pic room, so ava help me and give me the vip room. i really am thank you but the vip room erm is the same as the single room, i was actually shock, vip room same size as the single room. thirdly, the bathroom is small, i was just enough to fit in to take a bath, im 163cm if you are taller and larger size than me, do take note about this. and also, there is no water after around 12am, this wasnt a hotel suppose to be. fourth, there is no water provided for free. you need to buy at the hotel or buy yourself from the store outside which will be cheaper. fifth, the toiletries is limited. the paper roll is not enough. sixth, the stairs is not balance. i fall at the staircase twice in two days. i check out earlier due to my plan arrangement. If you give me a second chance, i will choose a better hotel to stay i stay during winter, the heater is very strong so its good for people who are easily cold

I had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is charming, with clean and comfortable rooms, a great location very close to the walking street attractions, and very kind and helpful staff. I extended my stay twice! I highly recommend, and would love to stay again!

5/5 Location wise, you couldn't find a more perfect homestay. Literally built within the walls of the Shenyang palace, an easy 5 minute walk down the main street to the Shenyang Imperial Palace and Huaiyuanmen station just outside the palace walls. The room was immaculate with brand new furnishing as the hotel seems to be newly renovated with an Art Deco vibe. For the price you couldn't ask for any more. An absolute joy to stay at, the front desk service was immensely helpful with advice and even offered to wash and dry my clothes upon request on the first night. Couldn't be happier and will return, thank you so much!

It was totally nice hostel for me. Rest room in the each room was incredible. Host were very kind and easy-going people. Location was very center of the Shenyang representative street. Nearby, there were many restaurants and supermarket. it also connected to imperial palace where I’ve been many times back and forth in short period. So, location was perfect for me. You can find this hostel when you find the huge rocked door. As well as, it was clean and bright. When you close the window you can hear nothing about outside sound noise, but also when you open the window you can feel the fresh wind. This hostel offer breakfast amazingly. Thus, everything was nice and good, perfect. I can’t wait to visit here again for the next time.
