Laiyue Shangya Hotel

I had booked a family room for two nights, but they assigned me a corner room on the second floor. The facilities were basic, with only a small table and two chairs. Since I had a lot of stuff from our road trip, it was all on the floor, but that wasn't the worst part. What I couldn't stand was the noise—it was constant, like an exhaust fan or an air conditioner outdoor unit. I couldn't pinpoint the source, and I barely slept a wink that night. The next day, I asked the front desk to check other rooms, and another room had the same problem, so I promptly checked out! The breakfast was decent, and the cleanliness was acceptable, but the noise and the lack of furniture and a wardrobe were glaringly inadequate. Any consideration for comfort and comfort would have prevented this!

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were tidy, the breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent, especially Xia Zhi, the receptionist, who was very attentive.

The location is excellent! It's within walking distance of the Forbidden City and Zhang Xueliang's former residence, and there are many restaurants and attractions nearby. I was worried about soundproofing before I arrived, but it wasn't a problem at all. (However, you can hear sounds coming from the room from the hallway.) The TV can be projected! Thumbs up! There's a food delivery robot. The staff were very attentive; Shenyang is truly welcoming! ❤️🔥 It would be even better if the other bed in the family room was also a double bed.

Convenient location; receptionist Xia Zhi was attentive and friendly; parking was convenient.
