Atour S Hotel (Shenyang Middle Street Forbidden City Cultural Museum)

This Atour hotel provided an excellent travel experience, with a level of thoughtfulness that surpasses many five-star hotels. It seems to be a newly opened property, as it's very clean and the facilities are fantastic. I was surprised to find a yoga mat and a foam roller in the room, which is perfect for us millennials who often suffer from back pain 🤣. The toiletries are my beloved Le Labo, and the showerhead has great pressure, making for a very comfortable shower. The TV in the room even showed the availability of washing machines and dryers, saving guests an unnecessary trip. The location is also very convenient, right next to Zhongjie but without the noise, and very close to the Forbidden City. The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all very warm and friendly. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Shenyang.

The best stay experience during my trip was at Atour S!!! I originally chose it because it was newly opened and well-located, and it turned out to be even better than expected!!! They even upgraded my room for free when I checked in. First off, the location is incredibly convenient! It's super easy to walk to every attraction. The service and cleanliness were excellent. If you slept in and missed breakfast, you could even make a note for them to save a meal for you – truly amazing! PS: Their breakfast hours from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM are a godsend for late risers! Lastly, I want to commend every staff member for being incredibly friendly! A special thanks to the ladies in the restaurant. After breakfast, I wanted to make an Orange C Americano with my leftover orange juice, but I saw that the coffee machine was already turned off (because it was past 11:00 AM). However, one of the ladies actually restarted it for me. I felt a bit embarrassed, but she kept saying it was no big deal since they hadn't cleaned other areas yet and turning on the machine was easy. ♥️ This was truly the best travel experience; I came back with not a single dirty item in my suitcase. The staff washed, dried, and neatly folded all my clothes, leaving them at my door. So grateful. Because of this experience, I am now a loyal fan of Atour S!!!
