When I went to pick up my package, the front desk actually told me to go to the warehouse myself to get it, claiming the delivery person put it there and they didn't know where it was. That's outrageous, I've never encountered such service before. The front desk staff were also incredibly unhelpful. The only upside was that breakfast was pretty good.

Traveling to Shenzhen with my family, we stayed in the family room at Futian Huanggang Intercity Hotel, Shenzhen, and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it for families with children. The family room was incredibly spacious and well-designed, offering separate sleeping areas for both adults and children, ensuring everyone had their own space and privacy. Our whole family felt relaxed and comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, free from any strange odors, and the hygiene details were impeccable. The lighting was excellent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of trains passing by at night, creating a wonderful ambiance. The bedding featured high-end Sealy mattresses, which were both soft and supportive, and there was a choice of pillows, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep for both adults and children. The smart home controls throughout the room were a hit with the kids – they loved using voice commands to turn lights on and off, open and close curtains, and adjust the air conditioning. It added so much fun and joy to our stay. The bathroom was well-appointed with a separate shower and plenty of hot water with good pressure. After a day of sightseeing, a hot shower was just what we needed to wash away travel fatigue. The hotel even provided disposable bath bags, which was a nice touch for cleanliness and peace of mind. The quality toiletries and soft, skin-friendly bathrobes made the experience comparable to a high-end luxury hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by Metro Line 7, making it super convenient for getting around and catching trains. The service was warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, and any requests were promptly addressed. The staff were all polite and friendly.

I've stayed at many InterContinental hotels to date, and each one has its own highlights and areas for improvement. Despite that, InterContinental remains my top choice when I'm unsure where to stay because it truly is the safest and most reliable option. I've always loved its design. The sophisticated black palette, minimalist and restrained, shows great consistency in color, materials, and spatial structure. The lines are always crisp and clean, yet softened by the curves of the soft furnishings, preventing it from feeling stiff or overly business-like. The sense of security InterContinental gives me comes more from its consistency. I'm familiar with the lighting modes in the room, which always allow me to switch between work and relaxation with a single button. I'm familiar with the basic setup of the mini-bar, and I always find the toiletries to be comfortable to use. I'm also familiar with the texture of their bathrobes, as I even wear the official InterContinental-branded version at home.

The service was absolutely amazing. Every staff member I met in the hallway would greet me with a warm "hello," and online inquiries were handled incredibly fast – my requests were delivered almost instantly. The service was the most memorable part of my trip to Shenzhen; I truly loved their enthusiasm 🌷 The room looked almost exactly like the pictures, with all the essentials and a comfortable bed. If I needed anything, a quick online message was all it took. ✔ The breakfast was good, they had a treadmill, and the hygiene was genuinely spotless. They even delivered takeaways right to my room door, which was super convenient. It's very close to both Shenzhen North High-Speed Rail Station and the Metro Station, just about a five-minute walk, making travel a breeze ❤️ The soundproofing isn't completely 'isolated from the world,' but it wasn't an issue at all for sleeping at night; it was quiet.

The hotel room was spacious and bright, with a separate shower and toilet, and all the amenities were complete. The front desk service was also quite good. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted pretty good. There are also many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.
