Weizhan Bay Hotel (Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center Branch)

Nice room and excellent location, very close to the MRT station. But airplane noise is very annoying.

The location is good. It take a few minutes walk to a subway stations. The hotel is clean and I would recommend it for this budget price.

If you are attending an exhibition at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Centre, the location of this hotel is quite convenient as it is only one tube station away The hotel however, is not great. Front desk looks disorganised and overwhelmed. Hardly any service from them. Many visitors had their packages sent here but there is no system implemented in terms of storage and all guests were given access to the storeroom behind the front desk to go through the many packages. Honestly, i simply do not have that patience. There are 2 blocks, i was allocated the next block on level 7. room number starts with 9 and i was not informed on the floor where my room was. Took a bit of time to get that sorted. Room wise - functional but sound proof is bad bad bad. Corridor noise is very audible, my room was just behind the lift shaft and the opening closing of doors plus motor running was audible in my room. not to mention the landing of air crafts at Bao'an Airport! so you do not need an alarm clock. Planes start landing at 0600hrs! other than all these, the price point is very attractive. If you are a deep sleeper and mostly do not rely on the hotel concierge, this hotel is quite alright given it's location.
