The worst nightmare of a hostel I have ever experienced in my lengthy 2+ years of traveling across Asia! I stayed here for 2 weeks, only because the location is good and right beside a metro station. Aside from this perk, the accommodation itself is terrible! Do not stay here if you value your peace of mind. To start, the owner employs a young boy who appears to be only in his early 20s as the manager. This guy likes to nitpick at nearly everything, especially if you are a foreigner. He loathes tourists and will make your life a living Hell during your stay! He told me that I was not permitted to use the air conditioning, but allows the locals to use it. He told me that I cannot hang my laundry to dry on the racks beside the bathroom, but allows the locals to put them wherever they want. He told me that I could not keep my expensive shoes under my bed, but allows the locals to kick off their shoes in the middle of the aisle. He told me that I cannot use the lights in the dining area, but allowed the locals to use them. I tried to report his behavior to the owner via WeChat, but my pleas were ultimately ignored. Regarding cleanliness, the entire hotel reeks of urine and feces. If you're used to that, good for you. There is poop all around the toilet, which is a shared floor with the shower, so you're stepping in it as you bathe. The shower head holder cannot be hung because it was never repaired. The toilet seat is torn off. There is no running water in the sink, so you need to wash up in the sink outside on the balcony. The bedroom stinks of stale cigarettes from the long-stay local tenants, who are not monitored. Regarding comfort, I don't expect much from a hostel, but the bed is literally a wooden plank with a thin mattress liner and sheet on top. Imagine sleeping in a bare tent on a concrete sidewalk like a homeless person - it isn't far from this feeling. Tenants toss and turn all night, shaking the bed frame because they aren't used to it, and when they move even the slightest, you can feel everything! I woke up daily with pain in my tailbone and hips. Amenities consist of only a toothbrush, body wash, and shampoo. No towel. There are also bed bugs. I spotted at least 2 in the 2 weeks I stayed. I was bitten so often, I had to use a strong, prescription grade anti-inflammatory cream on a daily basis, at least twice a day, and even then, it didn't help much to alleviate the pain and itch. Because the manager is a cheapskate, he constantly turned down or even turned off the AC to his own liking - leaving the room a hot mess like a sauna. The owner, despite possessing a friendly demeanor, never disciplined her unpleasant and unruly manager, and basically let him run the show however he saw fit. She didn't deal with the theft of my clothing, despite claiming to help check the cameras. If you own anything valuable, do not stay here because the staff will go through it, and in my case, steal or discard it as they see fit. She once sent me 10 RMB for a drink to compensate for my loss, but my missing clothing was worth far more than only 2 USD. Do yourself a favor - do not stay here, so that you may actually enjoy your travels in China. If it wasn't for the reasonable location and my 30kg worth of luggage, I would have relocated the very next day. This converted apartment is a Hellhole and you will be sentenced to persistent suffering if you choose to stay here. I warned you! Good luck and good riddance.

I really liked this hostel; it's quite cozy and clean. They provide toiletries, and though I wasn't given a towel, I didn't ask for one either. I don't speak Chinese, but the girls around me are friendly and help me with apps and deliveries in Chinese. Those who write negative reviews simply haven't figured out how to live here; it's actually a very cozy women's dormitory.

This is very cheap accommodation, but as you can see in the pictures, it seems nobody cleans the communal areas. The only one toilet / bathroom for 20 beds was particularly bad — the dirtiest and smelliest I have seen in my life of travelling! We decided not to take any showers there to avoid getting sick! I don't understand how the Chinese authorities can allow this place to remain open to visitors. For sure, it's a shame for the owner !

The hostel is in perfect location with great view from balcony and contact with the host was seamless but the place itself needs some renovation and clearing. Bed was relatively clean but common areas needs some work

Easy to find if you contact them on Trip, clear self check-in. Bed is FIRM and toilet is basic, but for the price and location, can't complain about anything. Super central.

Everything was good. It was very quiet in the hostel itself. I stayed for 1 day to see what was interesting in the city center. There wasn't a towel, but they responded quickly to messages. The hostel is located on the 11th floor. There's a window, so the air is fresh. The toilet is just a hole in the ground though, no Western-style toilets.

Lu Muo is a one of a kind customer service agent. She is super fast to answer, very polite and shows that she cares about the customer. Pillows are very fat 😁, blankets are very cozy, beds have brand new outlet sockets, LED with warm and cold options, vending machine inside the hostel with snacks, meat, drinks. Incredible location. Very safe building and super safe area. literally more than 30 places to eat/coffee in 300 meters radius. some open until 3 am, so 24 hours. Super safe neighbourhood. 🇨🇳⛩️♥️
