The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan

The room was quite spacious, well-equipped, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. I called the hotel in advance, and they said the room would be ready. However, when I arrived before 2 PM, they told me the room hadn't been cleaned yet, and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to go out and take care of some business. When I returned in the evening, they informed me there was a maintenance issue with my original room and moved me to another one. I don't think it was the World of Windows view room I booked (room 01, which has a side view of World of Windows). The front desk showed no apology whatsoever. The room had a capsule coffee machine, but no capsules were provided. The hotel breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and authentic flavors. The service at the breakfast restaurant, in particular, was very thoughtful and left a deep impression on me.

It was just okay. Breakfast was very basic, hardly anything to eat. Dinner was decent. The hotel is quite old, and the room had a musty smell. The only positives were the great swimming pool and the excellent location!

Overall, the stay experience was good, with convenient transportation and dining options nearby. It also offers good value for money. I would consider staying here again if I have the chance.

They've consistently maintained top-notch service and excellent hygiene over the years. Aside from the building showing its age, everything else has always been satisfying. A big thank you to Joestar for their dedicated service during this stay!

The room facilities are complete and it's very clean, a non-smoking room with no strange odors. You can see Window of the World from the window. The king-size bed is a bit soft, but the children's bed is just right. The breakfast buffet is quite rich and the taste is decent. Yitian Plaza is downstairs, there's a food street nearby, and a metro station not far away, making transportation convenient. However, the underground parking lot is on B3 of Yitian Plaza and is quite old. On rainy days, there's a bit of an odor... I hope it can be upgraded and renovated in the future.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Window of the World and Happy Valley, making it convenient for sightseeing, especially with kids. The room offers beautiful views, and breakfast is good. We had a wonderful stay.

Every time I visit Shenzhen, I choose to stay at The Westin. This time, my experience was exceptionally good. Perhaps because I'm a returning guest with a Black Elite card, the front desk proactively upgraded me to a room with a view. For this business trip, I needed to print and scan some documents, and the business center didn't charge me for the few extra pages. A truly excellent experience! 👍

Sharon at the hotel's express service center was incredibly warm and helpful. The location is super convenient, making for a great stay overall!
