Luckily, I checked the rooms beforehand. The first room they provided had a strong odor as soon as I walked in, and the whole room reeked of the toilet. The front desk said it was because no one had stayed there the day before and the room wasn't ventilated, so no one needs to ventilate the room? The second room had a dirty shower head and oily stools. I had to ask the housekeeping to replace the stool before they found one for me. Don't they pay attention to these kinds of cleanliness when cleaning rooms? These aren't supposed to be unsanitary areas, are they? The shower drain was leaking very slowly; I don't know if the pipes were clogged. The bed felt like two single beds pushed together; you could feel it standing between them. The soundproofing was terrible; you could clearly hear the door closing and people talking.

I won't go into details about what happened in the early morning. In the morning, a young woman wearing black-rimmed glasses at the front desk tried to change my room. Although she had mentioned beforehand that I would have to pay an extra ¥20, since it wasn't my fault, I told her I could have a room without paying the difference. In the evening, I discovered the thermos was rusty. When I told her, she showed me an even worse one; this kind of kettle should have been replaced long ago. What I want to say is that asking young women for help isn't the problem, but their responsiveness needs improvement; they're not professional enough.

Check-out time was 12:00 PM, but around 8:30 AM someone knocked on the door. I was showering and hadn't even gotten dressed when the housekeeping staff opened the door. Luckily, there was a security chain; what if the door hadn't been chained and I was changing? Before leaving, I saw a young woman wearing black glasses. When I mentioned this to her, she said the hotel cleans for guests around 8:00 AM every day. I couldn't stand it anymore and immediately told her that if the guests were still sleeping, shouldn't they be asked to get up since it was cleaning time? There weren't any "Do Not Disturb" or "Please Clean" signs to hang outside the door. I wasn't there to be mistreated, nor did I want to tell the young woman how to do her job.

The room was clean and tidy, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly until morning. The facilities were complete and easy to use, and the bathroom was also clean and odor-free. The overall environment was quiet and cozy, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. I was extremely satisfied with my stay; it was excellent value for money, and I would definitely choose this place again!

On the afternoon of the third day of the ***** New Year, I traveled to Shijiazhuang and Zhengding Ancient City. I chose to stay at the Xinyu Hotel again; it was great value for money, had a prime location, good service, and clean rooms. The new landmark Zhiyin Square and the Hebei Provincial Museum are nearby, making transportation and shopping convenient. I highly recommend trying the time-honored Hongxing Baozi (steamed buns) next to the Hebei Provincial Museum; the experience is definitely different. Remember: if you arrive before 11:00 AM, you might not get a seat.

The house was clean and hygienic, and the service was good. We stayed in a twin room, which was a little small, but it was enough! The two beds were pushed together, and it was big enough for two adults and two children!
