Swan Lake Hotel

This hotel is incredibly close to Shijiazhuang Station, just a 4-minute taxi ride to the platform, making it perfect for catching early morning high-speed trains. Below the hotel is actually a bathhouse, with guest rooms upstairs. The rooms are really, really spacious and even include an electric mahjong table, which is great for families. However, the carpet in the hallway was quite dusty, causing some coughing for those with sensitive respiratory systems. Switching to a room facing outwards with a window that could open made a big difference.

The room was quite spacious, and the breakfast was decent. The service was very good, and the room was clean and hygienic. Parking was also free.

This hotel definitely feels like a blast from the past. I saw a lot of reviews saying that before I booked, and it's absolutely true – it seriously feels like stepping back into the 80s. The facilities are quite old, and the cleanliness is just about what you'd expect for the price. The location was convenient for me, as it's right near where I was working for my business trip, which is why I chose it. Overall, the hotel service is actually very good, and the breakfast spread is fantastic with a wide variety of options. There's plenty of parking available, and it's free for hotel guests.
