InterContinental Hotels SHIJIAZHUANG by IHG

When I booked this hotel, I saw that it had been renovated over 10 years ago, but I still had faith in the initial renovation standards and quality of InterContinental, and it turned out I was completely right. The hotel front desk proactively called me in the afternoon before check-in to discuss my special room requests, and the check-in process was very smooth. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the Provincial Museum, and right next to Wanda Plaza and the TV Tower. The city view from the west and south-facing windows is fantastic. Dining and electric car charging are both very convenient. There's also a large park across from the hotel, which is great for a stroll if you have time. While the lobby decoration isn't as grand and dazzling as some InterContinental hotels in first-tier cities, it's tastefully understated. I didn't detect any smoke smell in the room. The breakfast management was well-organized, which deserves praise. The variety of food for breakfast was abundant enough, with Chinese, Western pastries, Japanese cuisine, fruits, and beverages all being decent. Both the gym and pool facilities are in very good condition.

I stayed at the Intercontinental for a few days while visiting Shijiazhuang. I have to say, the facilities are a bit old, and maintenance is just so-so. The bedside phone in the room had some issues, occasionally not connecting when trying to dial out. I stayed for two nights and didn't use the bathing facilities, so I can't comment on those. Let's talk mainly about the service. For a five-star hotel, service can compensate for aging facilities. Unfortunately, the Intercontinental's service was not great. As I was driving, the doorman at the hotel entrance wasn't very proactive. It took them a while to even help open the car door after looking at me. Once I parked and walked towards the entrance with my luggage, the doorman still made no move to assist. I observed the doormen whenever I entered and exited the hotel, and indeed, their service wasn't proactive enough. The front desk staff, however, had no issues. They were responsive, provided good service, and clearly explained everything. For the restaurant, I didn't book breakfast. Ctrip offered a complimentary voucher for consecutive stays, which my child mostly used, so I'm not sure about the variety of items. The restaurant staff were very enthusiastic. The lobby was quite disappointing. I had an item delivered to the hotel from JD.com, and when I returned, I asked a lobby staff member about my package. The lobby staff was leaning against the front desk counter, engrossed in their phone. When I asked my question, they simply gestured towards the front desk with their hand still holding the phone, implying I should ask the front desk staff. I've basically never encountered such service. I don't need overly enthusiastic service, but when a guest asks a question, one should at least have a proper attitude. This left a very bad impression. Other points: The hotel parking lot generally has enough spaces, though it gets a bit crowded at night. The hotel has about 10 charging piles, but they are all 7kW slow chargers, and the price isn't cheap, around 2 yuan. This isn't very friendly for electric vehicles. There are many fast-charging options nearby which can compensate. It's very close to Wanda Plaza, making dining and shopping convenient. Next to the hotel is Locomotive Street, which can be a bit noisy at night, but it's very convenient for finding food. The guest rooms offer traditional hotel services; the minibar is not free, but there's complimentary bottled water in the elevator lobby, which is very helpful for families traveling. That's all I have to say. I hope they improve their service. With the development of Shijiazhuang, many new hotels are opening. If they don't improve, this prime location and the Intercontinental brand will be wasted.

My stay at InterContinental Shijiazhuang was an excellent experience. The location is superb, with comprehensive amenities nearby. Bella thoughtfully arranged a suitable room for me. The guest room was clean and comfortable, facilities were all-encompassing, and the service was warm and meticulous. Everything was impeccable.

For business travelers or those on a short trip to Shijiazhuang, commuting costs are practically negligible. The lobby is spacious and bright, with tasteful art installations that avoid ostentatious luxury, instead creating a relaxed and elegant welcoming atmosphere. The guest rooms are well-organized, and the bedding is just right – soft enough to alleviate the fatigue of a long day but still supportive. The cleanliness and attention to detail are impeccable, and the amenities meet high-end hotel standards. The hotel's all-day dining restaurant offers a rich selection of dishes, balancing local specialties with standard fare. The breakfast menu caters to both northern and southern tastes, satisfying diverse dietary preferences. The staff are prompt and professional in their service, never intrusive but quick to assist when needed. This hotel is definitely a solid choice for anyone visiting Shijiazhuang.

Staying at the InterContinental Shijiazhuang Fuli for a business trip was an excellent experience overall. Shara, my butler, sent a thoughtful weather reminder in advance, which was wonderful. She even offered advice on what to wear and outdoor activity suggestions based on the temperature changes, and delivered a welcome fruit platter – truly thoughtful details. The high-floor room she carefully reserved offered outstanding views, and the indoor facilities were brand new and functioned perfectly, with high hygiene standards maintained. The service response was efficient, and the staff were patient and sincere, never intruding on my rest. This meticulous and attentive service significantly enhanced the comfort of my trip. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

From the moment I checked in until I checked out, the entire experience was delightful. The lobby was grand and spotless, and Manager Bi always greeted me with a warm smile, which made me feel very welcome. My room had excellent natural light and a spacious view. The air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, and the pillows were comfortable too; I slept soundly until morning. Room service was very prompt; anything I requested usually arrived within ten minutes. Upon checkout, they even proactively asked about my stay, which shows their attention to detail. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.

The hotel staff provided thoughtful service throughout my stay. The lobby bar had a quiet and elegant atmosphere, perfect for business meetings or a relaxed break. The toiletries were from a well-known brand and had a pleasant, sophisticated scent. The pool and gym were open to guests, and the equipment was well-maintained; a swim there was very stress-relieving. The freshly cooked noodles and omelet station at breakfast are definitely worth trying – the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Check-in with Bliss was quick, and overall, it was a very good hotel experience.

Quite good, actually better than the Hilton I stayed at, except for the view which wasn't as good. Breakfast was decent, met average expectations. For only 500 including breakfast, it's great value for money. Definitely worth coming back! Woohoo!

This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wanda Plaza, and the Train Night Market isn't far either, making sightseeing and shopping incredibly convenient. Bella provided wonderful service, proactively communicating and helping me resolve an issue. The room was clean and bright, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. I had a truly comfortable stay.
