Kimmane Golf Resort

Extremely disappointing experience. While the property itself is decent, the staff completely ruined the stay. The front desk team (especially Mr.vikas) was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and highly uncooperative. They were not only dismissive but also provided misleading and incorrect information, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Basic courtesy and respect were clearly lacking. It’s unacceptable for any hotel to have such poorly trained and disrespectful staff. Management needs to take this seriously and make immediate improvements, otherwise the overall experience will continue to suffer.

Congratulations, kitchen closes at 10. 30. Bar also closes at 10.30. If you happen to check in late like we did, Please bank on the grass on the turf to fill your tummy. Prompt advise is please order on an app from App. Wifi is down. This a glorified marriage hall now a days. Visit and pay through your nose at your own risk. What a shame

Absolutely incredible experience! No complains whatsoever. Food was amazing, rooms were spacious and the entire resort itself is beautiful. Good amount of kids activities and also some nice things to do within a 15-20 min drive like the zoo. The golf course is also good, but some of the fair ways and greens can be better. Highly recommend the resort, great for a 2-3 day visit!

Large rooms, free mini bar, amazing food buffet style, beautifully maintained gardens and a 9 hole golf course , bird watching walkways, cycle and kayak rides! Total value for money luxury resort. And for our rotary club long weekend getaway from chennai was perfect with a one hr direct flight…

I had an amazing stay at Kimmane Golf Resort, Shimoga. I was upgraded to Suite-A, the best room in the resort with beautiful views of the pool and golf course. The food was exceptional—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and well-prepared. The resort offers plenty of activities like golfing, kayaking, bird watching, nature walks, swimming, and indoor/outdoor games, ensuring there’s always something to do. A nice touch was the separate accommodation and meals provided for drivers, reflecting their thoughtful hospitality. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and recreation—I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Property is well maintained but property is not to the expectation of there tariffs buffet is average

Nice location and luxurious resort. Good activities. Very friendly staff. They make you take part in activities. Food was awesome and lot of veg options in the menu. My kid enjoyed a lot

Everything is perfect except their In-room dining experience. I called 3 times and requested for in-room dining menu as it was not available in the room for both Restaurant and front office, but they didn’t even care to respond until I had to get down all the way from my room to Reception and physically request. But one guy from Front office, unfortunately I don’t remember his name but he speaks good Kannada, was very rude, even while we were checking out when the receptionist requested for the review, I spoke regarding the same to which Again he was there but with same careless behaviour. I don’t care who he is, but after paying so much amount I do not accept or expect such cringe behaviour
