Albany inn Shirahama

It's about a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The owner runs it alone and is very friendly. The rooms are all on the 2nd floor and are very clean. You need to store your shoes on the 1st floor and change into slippers before going upstairs.

Since we arrived late and it was pitch black, we could only find a convenient place to stay near the train station. Although the exterior wasn't great, the interior was quite clean, and the separate shower and toilet areas were very convenient. The owner was very kind; they proactively helped carry my luggage to my room on the second floor and even turned off the lights so I wouldn't have to carry them downstairs myself the next day. I'm truly grateful!

The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly! The location was fantastic, right next to the JR station, perfect for someone like me who prefers public transportation. We arrived that afternoon, left our luggage at the hotel, bought a half-day bus pass, and took buses from the JR station to tour the entire Shirahama area before catching the last bus back to the hotel around 7 PM. The next day, before checking out, we had brunch at a shop near the station. A very comfortable arrangement.

The owner greeted me with a smile, and my first impression was great! The air conditioner was set to the right temperature before I entered the room, and the room was very clean and comfortable. (^^) It's close to Shirahama Station, so the location is great and I'd love to return!
