We arrived by car, and the guidance and luggage handling at the entrance were smooth. In the lounge at the back of the lobby, light snacks, plum wine, whiskey, coffee, etc. were offered. The art museum on the second floor is best visited during guided tours. The room was said to have been renovated, but there were peeling paint and cracks in places. It seemed that maintenance was not done very well. The room itself was spacious and a suite. Because it is an old facility, the air conditioning is centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted in the room, so it was cold at night. Also, because the windows are fixed, it was impossible to ventilate the room, and the whole room smelled of mold. The carpet in the hallway also smelled quite musty. There are large public baths on the first and second floors, and the one on the second floor is larger and more wonderful, but because it is on a rotation system, men could only use it the following morning. We had high expectations for the king's buffet dinner, but the only noteworthy items were the steak and abalone, the other dishes and side dishes were just average, and the sushi was lukewarm and not tasty. Breakfast seemed better. The breakfast was on par with that of a well-known business hotel. Overall, while the rooms are spacious, considering the undeniable signs of aging in the facilities and the quality of the dinner, I felt the cost performance was not good.
