Hotel Sanrakuso

Facing the sea with stunning views, the hotel looks right out onto the beach of Half Moon Bay. Enjoying a cup of tea while watching the sunset is wonderfully relaxing. It's just over a kilometer from Crescent Island, making for a pleasant stroll. The Mingguang bus stop is right at the doorstep, offering great convenience. The front desk staff are extremely polite and provide meticulous service.

The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Sitting on the balcony watching the sea was so therapeutic, and the ocean view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. It's very close to the beach, making it super convenient for swimming in the sea. The staff were also very warm and welcoming. A few minor suggestions for improvement: 1. Consider installing screen windows. 2. Add light switches and charging ports near the bedside. 3. Consider adding a cabinet next to the TV for placing tea and cups. 4. The balcony chairs could use an upgrade. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Shirahama Beach, which is great for swimming. There are two different types of hot springs in the large public bath. The front desk also has staff who speak Chinese. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, with unbeatable sea views. The food is decent, meeting normal standards. The public bath is a bit cramped. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, but the downside is the steep slope leading to the entrance, which can be a bit tiring.

The balcony faced the beach directly, so we could just step out and go for a swim. The view was amazing! The staff were also very enthusiastic, and the bus stop was right outside, which was super convenient. Very satisfied!

This was my first time in Shirahama, and I chose Sanrakuso as my first stop. Let me start with the pros: it's very close to the beach, just across the street, making it super convenient for beach activities. There's also a bus stop right outside, so transportation is easy. The hot springs were decent. The downside is that the hotel feels a bit old and a little dated overall. But all in all, I'm still satisfied.

The location is fantastic! After getting off the bus from Shirahama Station at S16, 'Yu no Sato' stop, the hotel entrance is right there. There were complimentary welcome snacks in the room, which were delicious. Around 5 PM, they came to make up the futon beds. The room has its own bathroom, and there's a large public bath on the second floor, which was very relaxing. There's a free coffee machine and tea available by the entrance. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The front desk on the first floor also sells fireworks, so you can go set them off on the beach at night, but remember to bring a small bucket or a fire extinguishing bag. It was a lot of fun!
