Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

The Associa Hotel in Shizuoka is a chain hotel with many people. It is clean, but some facilities are a little old. However, the price is reasonable and Mount Fuji is only a 2-hour drive away. It is really good!

A quiet city, a quiet hotel in a busy city, but very convenient for travel. Excellent location within walking distance to the train station, shopping alleys, museum and the fisherman market which serves good value seafood. Hotel front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and a lady actually recommend a less expensive carpark next door (500 Yen 12 hours comparing to 1200 Yen Hotel parking). More like a business hotel which provides no other leisure facility. Room price is a bit less competitive relative to other hotels I stay in other locations during this trip.
