Orient Apart Hotel

Deeply regretted having booked half board here for 3 weeks! Not a hotel atmosphere. Back exit open and not under video surveillance. Some of the reception staff were minors aged between 14 and 17 (no knowledge of English, Russian or German). 1 adult receptionist slept with the door open (photo documented, not published for data protection reasons). Unprofessional behaviour by the restaurant service staff (loud, no distance from the guests, blabbed about private matters without being asked or invited (payment problems, police intervention, etc.). Intrusiveness regarding the guest's drink order. Running back and forth aimlessly through the row of tables, causing a disturbance. Usually hands in pockets!). During dinner time, some of the lights were turned off so that guests who were still chatting would leave). Food - compared to other hotels of the same category (personal experience!) catastrophic: margarine (butter only on 3 days in 3 weeks), juice machine covered for 3 weeks. Cocoa never available in the drinks machine. Only white bread. No milk, no yogurt, no muesli or anything else. Only 1 x fruit salad and mandarins, otherwise only apples for 20 days. Almost only rice or pasta with chicken, only 1 x fish and beef. Sometimes instant soups. Oil/vinegar cruet: 1 for all (!) guests and often not filled. Vegetables: tomatoes, peppers, carrots (all very monotonous). Eating from plastic plates! Cleanliness/service poor: superficial and irregular cleaning of the room. Dispenser in the shower never filled. Fridge dirty. Toilet paper holder broken the whole time. Likewise the hallway light (I only found my room lock thanks to the light from my cell phone). No chair on the balcony (I "borrowed" one from another guest who had 2...). TV not set to German channels (although we know that German guests are staying in rooms). 2 x staff came with the same attempts/attitude (resources!?) Other guests were definitely equally disappointed and frustrated and some went out to eat. Due to nightly activities in the neighboring room (noises, coming and going at unusual times) it must unfortunately be assumed that the rooms were also rented out by the hour. I am used to a basic level in 3-star hotels and am satisfied, but I have never experienced such a low level in Turkey! I do not rule out that a 5-point rating (from wherever and by whomever) will now follow. Question: In what cycles do travel agencies check this accommodation? I never let myself be influenced/impressed by negative reviews in advance! But something as low-threshold as in this "hotel" I have never experienced this in Turkey!
