Darling Pub Hostel

Good service, staff were friendly. Near restaurants and shops. Only a short walk or tuk tuk to pub street area. Only 15/20 minutes to Angkor wat. Good tuk tuk and taxi availability. Nice pool with sunbeds. There is also food and drink available, as well as a pool table. Room was spacious, with smart tv. Shower has hot water. There was mould in the bathroom.

The room looks nice, but air conditioner set timer. Anyway the staff has come to fix it. They are friendly but the condition of air conditioners seem a bit old so it’s hot during summer. Hope u can fix this issue thank

What a relief to find such a nice hostel, it almost feels like a hotel. The people at the reception greet you everyday. We had the breakfast included, which was nice and simple. You have a few options where you can chose from and they make it fresh. The pool is nice and peacefull. After they cleaned our room, the housekeeping left the window open, which resulted in a mosquito invasion. That was a one time experience, which may just be a mistake of the housekeeping. In any case, you have a nice bed with a nice bathroom. The shower was really nice! We booked 2 days extra, but the guy at the reception was not very friendly. Another customer arrived while I was talking to him. The guy from the reception switched, which I experienced as insulting. Overall experience: Excellent price to quality! Would definitely recommend!

I stayed at Darling for one night waiting for my family to join me for a week at a resort, as I had a late night arrival the day before our group booking.  The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. The pool area looked great, though I didn’t swim.  I did have a small issue in the morning, because Trip says breakfast runs 6:30-13:00, but the clerk said breakfast ran 7-10. Fortunately, when I showed him my booking he did make sure I had brunch.  Lovely people, no complaints. It’s a great deal for the price.
