Golden Temple Retreat

Close to Pub Street and about a 30-minute tuk-tuk ride from Angkor Wat. The room was bright white, and the balcony overlooked the pool, which was lovely. The only downsides were no Japanese TV channels and the hairdryer kept stopping after about 3 minutes. The stone floor in the room felt great on bare feet.

Fantastic! I was a bit worried it might be old since it opened in 2016, but it wasn't at all. The location is great too, within walking distance to the bar street. I stayed for 4 nights and even got a complimentary lunch. Too bad I didn't get to try the pool and spa! 🥲

My stay was very comfortable. The hotel isn't large, but it's very clean and the service is excellent. The location is also great; nothing is too far away, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's enough to fill you up. The only downside was the lack of disposable slippers. Oh, and the complimentary banana chips were delicious!

The staff were enthusiastic and responsive to all our requests. The room was spacious and well-equipped with amenities. However, the TV wasn't working and could only stream YouTube. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby to explore at your leisure, and the bar street is only about a 10-minute walk away.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the ruins and not too far from the market. The staff were incredibly friendly and considerate, which made for a very pleasant stay!

Last year, I stayed at the Golden Temple Hotel and absolutely loved the service and atmosphere. This year, I decided to book the Golden Temple Retreat, and my stay was just as comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about their guests. They arranged a tuk-tuk for us to visit the temples and a wonderful Apsara dance dinner, which was held at the hotel restaurant. We were absolutely thrilled with the performance. We also tried the hotel's spa program and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. The hotel itself and its grounds are beautifully decorated in a traditional style. It's a place of peace and relaxation. I highly recommend any of the Golden Temple chain hotels for your stay in Siem Reap. I will definitely be back; I already miss Siem Reap, Angkor, and the Golden Temple!

Great location! The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but everything offered was exquisite. A male manager was particularly helpful and polite; he showed us to our table and thoroughly inquired about our preferences for tea and coffee.
