The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok

Our experience at Oberoi surpassed all expectations. It's situated across expansive grounds, which gives each guest ample privacy. Hotel design is meticulous and nothing less than what I’d expect for Oberoi. The on-site restaurant serves up excellent food with a wide selection of choices, compensating for the limited nearby dining choices. Most impressive of all was the personal and impeccable service which warrants a rating beyond the conventional scale. if possible, I would award it six stars. Highly recommend a stay at Oberoi Lombok!

The Oberoi in Lombok is easily the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed with. From the second you arrive, the attention to detail, the grounds, rooms and food are faultless. There is even a menu for what type of pillow you would like. A special mention to Hari at front desk for making this a trip to remember, your kindness and hospitality will long be remembered long after we have left.

From the Moment we arrived at the airport in Lombok, until they packed us off7 days later at the same airport, we were pampered, cared for, looked after, entertained and overall made to feel like family. This may be easy at some places, but at a 5 star, Diamond level resort, getting the kind of attention, experiences, personal caring and touches, was a complete surprise! The Resort is spectacular with some of the largest Villa suites, with incredible views, incredible appointments and comfort. The resort is able to keep this 5 star service and quality appearance, yet simultaneously making you feel like you are on a private Balinese, Boutique island resort with no care in the world. The managers of each of the departments made it a point to come by and assure our satisfaction. And in a country where having employment is treasured, these professional staff members reflect the excellence and caring that this Brand of Hotels is all about. The special service and car given by everyone to make our stay amazing was appreciated. The General Manger was warm and welcoming, making his presence known for us to know he was involved and knew we were there. Our only regret, was not being able to stay longer. This was the first Oberoi Hotel we have visited.....this will not be the last, but the remainder of them will be hard pressed to live up to our expectations now that we have experienced this Lombok treasure! 5 stars all the way, excellent villa with own 10 metre pool, garden and outdoor dining pavilion. Location at Medana Beach is perfect. No complaints whatsoever, staff, food, spa and all facilities are excellent. All the staff go out of their way to be friendly and attentive, from front desk to gardeners. Although a different experience the service, facilities and food are on a par with The Datai, Langkawi. This resort on Lombok was the perfect way to chill for a week after a quite hectic 12 day tour of Bali.

I work in the UK travel industry, we had been travelling through Singapore and Bali I decided to visit Lombok and was recommended the Oberoi so I could get a small taste of the island and a luxury hotel. We were collected by Archon who guided around the coastline allowing us to take photos of the area just beautiful On arrival at the hotel we were met by Debi ozi billy and received a warm friendly welcome which was lovely The place felt homely and welcoming my first sight was the stunning oool area and grounds so beautiful After we checked in we headed to a pool view pavilion 101 perfect location as right next to main part of the hotel The rooms are spacious the beds huge and so comfortable I did struggle to climb in sometimes as I’m only small which was funny .The terrace was huge with views to the pool and gardens The bathroom is also light and spacious with a sunken bath for relaxing and looking out into your own little garden We decided to relax on the grassy area overlooking the beach and admire the first sunset which was beautiful we ordered some nibbles from the menu which were delicious later we had drinks in the bar and had a really good chat with hadi who said he had been working there 22years which is testament to the company We were out on a boat trip the next day so came back to relax and watch the sunset again we had dinner in the main restaurant which was excellent and plentiful It was then we realised my husband had lost his wedding ring Harry and hari looked all over for it but we think it was lost on the boat trip I can’t thank them enough for looking so grateful We had breakfast two mornings and adi served us he was cheery and pleasant the choices were excellent and the views towards the sea lovely We left with achun who took us back to the airport via the monkey forest All in all I would definitely recommend The hotel to my clients it’s so relaxing the staff are amazing I cried when I left hopefully we will come back one day and stay longer thank you for looking after us and making our quick visit special

Wonderful trip with family of 4 ... (2 teenagers 18 and 19 years old) 1. Outstanding service all around. From receptionist, housekeeping, restaurant servers , health spa therapists... first class! Always ready with a smile, wiling to help and efficient. Couldn't ask for more. 2. Great Beach Club / Dive centre... again service stood out with Dive Master Lee and Deddy who made sure we were safe on numerous dives and had a wonderful time. 3. Lovely accommodations... stayed in 2 inter connecting rooms ... spacious , well laid out and 2x daily housekeeping that kept the rooms fresh and clean... 5 star ! 4. Great food at restaurants... head chef came out to introduce himself. Team v flexible ...happy to prepare items not on menu on request. 5. Fantastic health spa... v high quality massages and treatments. Uniformly positive feedback from whole family. Clearly all the therapists and well trained and put great effort in doing a great job. 6. Reasonably priced given the super high quality. Congratulations to Oberoi and Management... you are doing a fantastic job... your staff are a credit to the company. Highly recommend a visit !

We just visited Lombok Oberoi and stayed for 2 nights! It was such an amazing experience that we feel the need to come back for sure!! The service was absolutely outstanding, the ambience was super ! The property and housekeeping was very well kept and we loved every minute of it. Everything was thoughtful and words fall short in expressing my gratitude The concierge was super with his suggestions and planning our day, we had a super time
