Sigiriya Danu Homestay

Dhanu-san was incredibly kind. I asked him to handle everything, from tours to transfers for my mountain climb. Thanks to him, I had a wonderful trip. There's a hairdryer available, but if you have long hair, I recommend bringing your own. The delicious breakfast was also a lifesaver.

The owner, Danu, was incredibly hospitable, introducing us to various activities and accommodating our requests. As it's located in the middle of the jungle, I recommend it to those who are comfortable in the jungle! And the food prepared by Danu's wife is exquisite! Breakfast has a different menu every morning, and dinner can be prepared upon request (for an extra charge). They also provide transportation to and from Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock, as well as check-in and check-out transfers upon request.

My stay here was absolutely wonderful. They provided a welcome drink, and offered various experiences such as photo spots, Ayurveda treatments, and a jeep safari, making it a truly delightful experience. They also offered transportation and were very flexible in accommodating my requests. All the food I had here was delicious. Also, the milk tea I had three times was the best I've ever tasted!

Thank you so much for the hotel transfer, the tour, and for taking me to the bus stop the next day. The food was delicious too. I would love to stay here again when I come back to Sigiriya. ☺️

It's located in a quiet area near Sigiriya... You can walk to Sigiriya and Pidurangala in less than 30 minutes. The owner, Danu, his wife, and his parents were very welcoming, and the simple yet delicious food was impressive. A family of monkeys and squirrels in the trees right in front of the room kept us entertained. However, it's a bit disappointing that there are no restaurants or shops nearby.

Great location for climbing. Friendly hosts.
