They double booked the room on me, found “alternative” accommodation 11km away in another town - no good for an early morning climb. When I rejected that they refused a refund!!! Forced to negotiate with expedia/my bank to get a refund.

We were made to feel part of their lovely family, we felt very welcomed. The room was small but it was cosy as we didn't need anything fancy. It's very close to lion rock and in a great location if you like bars and restaurants. The music went on quite late at night from the bars so take ear plugs if you want a good night's sleep. We got taxied by their son so a reasonable price and he stopped at reservoirs for us to take pictures. I definitely recommend this place for a short stay, also the sri lankan breakfast is delicious
