Hotel Mi Bencoolen

The room is very compact, and noise from the hallway can be clearly heard. I brought my own earplugs and sleep aids, and combined with long activity hours each day, I slept very well. Once opened and laid flat, my suitcase left just enough space to walk past on one side. The outer bed faces a mirror directly. The air conditioning in the room is very strong, and the front desk staff can speak Chinese. It's just a dozen steps away from the subway station, right across from a 7-Eleven, and right next to a coffee shop and a bar. There is a bus stop right by the subway, a few hundred meters' walk to the Fort Canning Tree Tunnel, and walking the other direction leads to the Old Hill Street Police Station, where there is a McDonald's. The room is equipped with direct drinking water, which is very convenient. For hailing a taxi, you can just input the hotel name, and the driver will pick you up right at the spot shown in picture three outside the hotel entrance. For my itinerary, this subway station always required transfers, so I actually ended up taking the bus most of the time later on.

Hotel Mi Bencoolen boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to popular attractions like the National Museum and Fort Canning Park, making getting around a breeze. It's right next to the Downtown MRT line and has a comprehensive bus network, making trips to Orchard Road, Marina Bay, and other areas hassle-free. The guest rooms feature a simple and modern design, are clean and tidy, and come with complete bathroom facilities. While the soundproofing could be slightly better, the overall stay was comfortable. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, with Chinese-speaking receptionists available, ensuring seamless communication. Overall, it's a very cost-effective city hotel, perfect for sightseeing, quick stops, or short layovers, with easy access to transportation, dining, and shopping.

The quad room is perfect for families with children. Hotel Mi Bencoolen's location is excellent, with a subway station right downstairs. There are also breakfast shops and late-night food stalls nearby, some even open until 3 AM.

The room was a bit small, but clean and tidy. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept well. It's very close to the subway, making travel convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants directly across the street and a short walk to the left. The service quality was good.

The location is excellent, just about 100 meters from the Bencoolen MRT station, making transportation very convenient. There are also quite a few popular Instagrammable spots nearby, all within walking distance. However, the room was really too small and cramped.

The hotel staff were excellent, very enthusiastic, and allowed free luggage storage. They even offered early check-in when a room was available. The air conditioning in the room was strong, and the location was super convenient – the nearest MRT station is only 100 meters away. I'll definitely stay at Hotel Mi Bencoolen again next time.

The room was clean and tidy, with all the essentials. There was a direct drinking water tap, and a kettle too, so I filled a bottle every day before heading out. The location is superb; it's about 150 meters to the hotel entrance if you turn right after exiting B at Bugis MRT Station (Blue Line). Getting to Changi Airport is also convenient; you can take the train to Expo and then transfer to the Green Line, which takes about 40 minutes. The Yellow Line MRT station is also nearby, and it's very close to Fort Canning Park. As for others mentioning poor soundproofing, my room was in the farthest corner on the 2nd floor, and it was very quiet at night. If you're a light sleeper, you can communicate your request to the front desk. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and Ya Kun Kaya Toast isn't far either. Nearby, there's also the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple and a hawker center, which is great for lunch and dinner. Those interested can explore the surroundings; Chinatown is just two subway stops away. On my last day, since my flight was in the afternoon, I was able to temporarily store my luggage at the hotel after checking out. All in all, for first-time visitors to Singapore traveling with no more than two people, I highly recommend this place.

The location is unbeatable; Bencoolen MRT station is right outside the hotel, just turn right. Both the room's bathroom and the hotel lobby on the first floor have direct drinking water dispensers, so just bring a water bottle and fill it up before you head out. The room itself is quite compact, but it's sufficient for a solo traveler. I didn't get a chance to use the pool on the second floor this time, but I'll save it for my next visit.
