Cube Social Boutique Capsule Hotel @ Boat Quay

The bed felt a bit dirty, and check-in wasn't until after 3 PM. The whole place seemed quite small. Overall, just average.

The location is fantastic, right near the subway, making it super easy to get anywhere. There's a street full of bars right outside, but it's surprisingly quiet at night. It was a bit too hot, though. The bed had a small fan, but it was noisy and didn't provide much air. For Singapore's prices, this hostel is pretty decent for what you pay.

The location is super convenient; major attractions are within walking distance. It's clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. Clarke Quay is right nearby, and Song Fa Bak Kut Teh and Jumbo Seafood are not far either, making it perfect for solo travelers. Just a few steps ahead, there are bars and a lovely underpass where you can enjoy some music and a nice breeze.

Great location, very convenient, right near the attractions. Plenty of shower rooms, very quiet, and a nice environment with fresh air. Perfect for short stays.

The front desk and service staff were incredibly enthusiastic, and the facilities were new and very clean. However, a word of caution: because the hotel is so popular and has high occupancy, you might end up with noisy roommates. One night, my roommate was packing their bags in the middle of the night, which kept me from sleeping. I finally fell asleep at 4 AM and woke up at 8 AM – it was torture. Downstairs is lively with bars and such, but it didn't affect my sleep at all; I couldn't hear any outside noise. The bedding had a few minor stains, but that's understandable.

Traveling solo in Singapore, I found this capsule hotel's location to be excellent. A short walk to the left brings you to the police station landmark, and it's also very close to Marina Bay. The MRT station is about 700-800 meters away, which made for a bit of a trek when returning at night, but manageable. The hotel's interior is really impressive, truly. You have to wear slippers inside the capsule area, which keeps things smelling fresh. All the guests I encountered were polite and respected the quiet atmosphere. The restrooms are shared, but they're cleaned immediately after each use. There are about 8-9 toilets, all with separate wet and dry areas, so waiting in line was rarely an issue. Hair dryers, shower gel, and shampoo are all provided. The front desk staff were very friendly, always greeting me whenever we crossed paths. As a 180cm tall man, I could fully stretch out on the bed. The bedside locker also offered ample storage. However, being located on Clarke Quay's bar street, there can be some noise if you're in a window-side capsule around 7-8 PM. That said, the windows can't be opened, and the sound wasn't loud enough to disturb my sleep. The hotel offers a great selection of free amenities like toothbrushes, earplugs, and razors, all disposable and self-service. They even provide complimentary sanitary pads, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was definitely a good experience with excellent privacy.
